Ha! One of my favorite SNL skits with Nicholas Cage meant to parody Elvis' famous entourage. "Look at that lamp. Why it's huuuuuge."

To your main point, our front court is atrocious. We're going to get destroyed up front all season unless Len progresses VERY quickly and/or a trade is made.

The front court is not atrocious, but it needs to improve. Frye was an important piece who could defend in the post and spread the floor. By all accounts Len played very well last night and the one thing that kept him from more than 20 minutes was his in-game conditioning.

My prediction is that Len will become the starter - and NOT because of injury - about the time the season reaches the mid-point. I do not expect any trades.

I'm sorta mixed on that release. When he did actually play he played on par with our other bigs and sometimes outplayed them.

Is Phoenix one Allstars or superstar away from being title contenders. I mean if Aldridrge was on our team this year without losing any players where do you see the Suns in terms of playoffs and a contending for a title?

I think an Aldridge level player would make us a contender but I don't know that he's specifically the right fit to do it. He helps our offense but I'd still be concerned about our interior defense. But give us a Channing Frye clone and turn Len into a top 8 center and we're instant contenders even without another superstar IMO.

Anthony Davis. Keep him healthy, rule the NBA for a decade plus.

Anthony Davis or KD sound like a plan.

Do the Suns practice on Sunday's because Eric Bledsoe is at the Breakfast Club right now next to the arena? My girl is there.

I know this might not be a very popular opinion but why not stay put for this season and then throw a max at Deandre Jordan? If we trade for a good big then we will have to give up one of Dragic and Bledsoe which I think is a one step back, two steps forward thing to do. If we keep everyone and add talent we'd make more of a leap. Len and Plumlee would be great 2nd and 3rd stringers, which they will most likely stay for the rest of their career, hence I wouldn't wanna trade them away.
Is a max for Jordan an overpay? Definitely, but someone is gonna give him that money. And down the the road with the new CBA kicking in the year after it might be easier to stomach. Even though I hate having players that can't freethrow on the team I think he would provide everything else we desperately need.
I'd still rather have Noah, but we won't get him so...

I'd give Jordan a max and not even blink but I can't believe the Clippers would let him leave. Unless he's clashing with someone on the team I doubt he'd be interested in playing for the same amount or less in Phoenix than the Clips will give him. But you're right, free throws notwithstanding, he'd be perfect for us.

I'd give DeAndre a max also.

Durrant won't leave OKC unless something extreme happens. He's has the "Tim Duncan" type of personality and will be loyal to OKC as long as they don't do something really stupid.

AD won't leave the Pelicans. They will max him out as soon as they can and he will gladly take the money. He won't demand a trade unless the Pelicans continue to suck for a couple of years into his max deal.

Deandre may be an option, but the Clippers are so thin on talent outside of Blake Griffin and Chris Paul that I don't think they can afford to let him walk. (The Clippers really remind me of the 09-10 Suns team. Outside of Nash and Amare, we had no depth and one injury to a key player would take us from contenders to a 1st round exit.) Also, Deandre and Griffin are tight. Really tight.

There is a chance a big guy may become available, but there is no chance is is #1 or #2 above.

If Boogie became available for the right price (No Dragic or Bledsoe), would you guys be willing to ship out IT to get Boogie? I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I doubt that Sac would want IT back, so thats out of the picture. Honestly if Boogie is on the block, unless we are offerering Dragic or Bledsoe, i can see the Kings finding a much better offer somewhere else then what we can offer them.

Count me in.

Offer Len, the Morrii and the LAL pick and they might not hang up immediately.

They don't want IT.

I see KD and AD leaving their teams. KD has done enough for that organization. I can see him wanting Phoenix. Always says great things about Dragic. Also, PJ a close friend to him. Style will fit his game.

AD.. I just don't see Pelicans a good team like everyone else has them this season. I think he leaves if the chance comes up but will be a couple years before that happens.
