Qwigglez wrote:I would trade for Bargnani sure. His contract expires so that helps. As a player, heck no he's done. I used to be enamored by Bargnani, thinking he would be a perfect fit in our system. But he doesn't possess that fire and he just simply doesn't want to play basketball anymore it seems.

But is it lack of fire or the fact that he went I to sheer disfunction in that system with supreme chuckers the likes of Melo and JR Smith... not to mention the circus Amare (a.k.a. mr MOMENTEMUM....real Suns fans will remember that interview.. lol) was at the time. Granted... I havnt kept up enough to know he has had injury problems but is his problem his fire or the constant dumpster fire that has burned around him since he got there? If he can get back to even 80 percent of the game posessed before he got there... he flourishes here.

LOL at 'dumpster fire' ...

As an inexpensive stretch 4/5 FA... who says no ? we have the med staff to help him. But I don't trade IT for him, nor the MoBros. And w/o them, the salaries don't work. Phnx is a good place to revitalize careers.

I think we have to keep the MoBros to maintain the playoff lure. Having BWright really fills in some weaknesses we had. If the Bros continue to act up/out then all things change come June...I could also see them becoming agitated (F-n weird they are practically siamese twins) once CusMo is relegated to the Pine. He just doesn't have a place on this team IMO. Would it surprise anyone that 'they' demand a trade to a team that would play the lesser of the two Mo's ?

And why are we discussing bargnani? Don't we have a version of him already, we got in this draft in the second round.

Kings- Hibbert, Green, suns 1st round pick
Pacers- Dragic, Len

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ku5jmgm

Suns- Get the disgruntled star.
Kings- Get another All Star Center, a lights out scorer, and a 1st round pick
Pacers- Get the guy they wanted all along in dragic, along with Len who has been playing well.

Len is untouchable. Secondly, Kings get screwed in that deal. Green would probably leave at the end of the season and they do not need the Suns first round pick when they will already have their own pick which is probably going to be much better.

And the Pacers make out like bandits. Seriously, that's one of the most lopsided 3 way trades I've seen proposed.

I doubt that's true. Cousins is roughly a top 10 talent with a bottom 10 personality. If someone offered an unblemished top 10 player for him, I'm pretty sure the Kings would jump on it. He becomes functionally untouchable though when you consider other teams are only interested if they can get him for pennies on the dollar. If his head was on straight, a Dragic, Len, Green and 1st round pick would be a steal for us.

I'm super confused about the idea of going after Bargnani. What is going on?

Same here. I was looking for any sort of sarcasm in those interested in him but didn't see any. I'd much rather get a future 2nd rounder for Green than help NY out while getting nothing in return.

He should really help spread the court for us as long as he can sink those shots from his favorite spot, otherwise known as the injured list.

You don't have to trade anything for Bargs. He will be bought out by the Knicks in due time.

SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

At one point Bargs was a baller.... NOTICE I mentioned if healthy ...and if it was thought he still had anywhere near his previous game in him. NOTICE I also said it would need to be figured out if his decline came because of him, or the system and terrible fit with the players around him.... all in the form of a question.. because so many of the absolutely excellent basketball minds around here were absolutely right about Pau Gasol being the worst player we could looed to trade for and the fact that his career was over!!! Not suprised at the usual quick to judgement response by some of you.... but since unlike you I have not recently talked to bargs and played a few games of pickup with him... I havnt been able to form a rational opinion about his current game. I glad a few on here have that firsthand knowledge and can let me know exactly whats going on in his personal life, thanks guys.
You really think they would cut him JD?... I wouldnt go get him prsonally unless the Suns tired of the Morri and decided to part ways.

Thats funny

and that could be true

His name will come up in free agency. With him, its all about his health. The skill set is there. Christ, how different is a healthy Bargs to Frye? Look at the interest in him last yr. Probably end up on the Spurs

This is all I could find.

Alec brown plans to play on the d-league.
http://m.winonadailynews.com/sports/loc ... touch=true

And this too.
http://www.rotoworld.com/recent/nba/2399/alec-brown

Alec brown is planning to play in Spain for the 2014-15 season.
The Suns' second-round pick is planning to play for Obradoiro in the Spanish League once he finishes rehabilitation on his left shoulder that he dislocated during Summer League. He had surgery on July 24 and is expected to resume basketball activity in late October or November. The Suns still retain rights to the seven-footer, but he won't have any relevance in fantasy circles for the 2014-15 season.

Alec Brown suffered a dislocated left shoulder vs. the Mavericks on Friday.
His injury didn't look good and he was grabbing the outside of his shoulder as he went to the locker room. Brown's injury will likely keep him sidelined for multiple weeks. Fri, Jul 18, 2014 05:16:00 PM

December 31, 2014

Alec Brown, a former Winona Senior High School and UW-Green Bay standout who was picked in the second round of the 2014 NBA Draft, said Tuesday night he plans to start his professional basketball career sometime in mid-February.

Brown, watching his former team play at the Lewiston Auto/Warrior Club Holiday Tournament, will spend the next six weeks in Charlotte, N.C., continuing to rehab from shoulder surgery, then he said he’ll join the Bakersfield Jam, an NBA Developmental League team affiliated with the Phoenix Suns, the team that made him the 50th overall pick in last June’s draft.

Brown, 22, dislocated his left shoulder — the same one that gave him problems during his senior season at Green Bay — while diving for a loose ball in the Suns’ final NBA Summer League game in Las Vegas in July, then had surgery shortly thereafter. The record-setting shot blocker at Green Bay and accurate 3-point shooter had a pre-draft offer to play in Spain, but the contract had a clause that allowed him to pursue an NBA opportunity first.

The NBA D-League regular season ends in early April. The championship series is held later that month. Bakersfield is second in the West Division with an 11-7 record.
