You keep your Mantra that Keif is his own man and he and the FO want him to be a Sun... and I'll maintain that the MoBros share one brain and Kief and the Suns want him elsewhere. Its pretty simple.

Too bad we all don't see it your way.

dammit, who pulled my string ? 8-)

See, that's not even really my mantra. And that's what makes continuing this discussion pointless. I've never said Kieff and the FO want him to be a Sun. All I've said is you don't trade him for crap or guys who are 35 and can't help our core--in short, don't move him simply to move him. That's very different from what you continuously turn this discussion into via your constant straw man arguments, like this one.

It's really not worth arguing with this guy. He will bait you and try to irritate you until the end of time.

Could see a Ryan Anderson for Kieff 1 for 1 potentially happening.

I think Gentry is WAY too high on the stretch the floor offense to get rid of a player like Anderson.

Suns Offseason Thread 4: Where's Terrence Williams?

@paulcoro: Marcus and Markieff Morris, via attorneys, asked for today's Maricopa County Superior Court appearance to be waived and were not present.

@paulcoro: With time needed to review a motion filed by the Morris' attorneys, the twins' next pre-trial conference will not be held until Sept. 16.

Was the motion needing review, the waiving of appearance, or was the motion something else?

Markeiff and his situation (that he and his brother created) is getting annoying. Almost as annoying as all the Patriots fans trying to convince everyone Tom Brady is completely innocent. I think what I am most annoyed with about Markeiff and Marcus is the lack of integity. They are the one's who had a ridiculous amount of Techs, assaulted a harmless old man, screamed at the coach, called fans terrible and bandwagon. Instead of pointing the finger at themselves for all the problems they made, they are still pointing the finger at everyone else. Sooooo Stupid. Yeah Markeiff has keep his personal feelings quiet (except with a few cryptic messages via twitter) but its quite apparent he doesnt want to be a Sun. And you can bet your A$$ that marcus is talking to him (and screwing with his mind) daily, telling him he needs to leave. Marcus is a complete scumbag and he is bring Markeiff down with him (because Markeiff is more of a follower). I dont know what he market is like for Markeiff right now but I am at the point that I just want him gone. Im all about addition by subtraction.

BTW Gambo gets major props for laying the smackdown on Marcus via twitter!

Post is OK, but the "harmless old man" thing is over the top. The dude is 36 years old. So, unless you are 15 he is not old and I doubt he was harmless. It still doesn't justify them assaulting him.

Sorry did not know how old the guy was. All I know is they ganged up on him. Not exactly a fair fight.

Well, we have ahead of us one month without news and rumours (or only a few of them)...this is gonna be really boring. Marcus is making a great job on that regard, he is better on twitter than on the court. :)

At the beginning of September we can scout some players in the Eurobasket, hopefully Teletovic, Bogdanovic and Len are there and play important roles on their teams.

Me too. It suddenly feels like we are stacked at rb with a healthy Woodhead, the flashy change of pace Oliver, and Gordon. I hope Green can fill in ok for Gates the first four games. Gates is like Rivers' security blanket. Royal kind of was too. Hopefully Woodhead can catch some short passes and not just run it up the middle (never understood why they just ran Woodhead up the middle).

I figured that was what you meant, but wanted to make sure. If there are enough football fans, I wouldn't mind running a fantasy football league too.

I went up to premier last time and I got my ass whooped. Back to D league for me. I wouldn't be surprised if we have enough interest for four leagues this year (not counting the h2h one). Not sure what we could call one though that was beneath the china league.

But those drafts should provide good times...not sure we can replicate that china league thread from last year, but who knows?

Has Gambo ever called out another Suns player as bad as he called our Marcus?

I can't remember one in recent history.

Who in recent history has said bad things to say about the Suns upon or after exiting? I can't think of any, most players that end up leaving usually thank the organization, sometimes with the ordinary feeling of disrespect but still appreciation for the franchise.

The only other player that I can think of is Jason Kidd giving the one finger victory salute to fans. Much like Marcus, he was traded after reports of violent behavior.

Return to Phoenix Suns
