I'm not sold one bit on Chriss at all. I'm more excited about our yearly 13th pick

The fact that he fouled out 15 times in 34 games is incredible. One game he fouled out in 15 minutes haha.

Yeah I watched that show too. Honestly I'm ok with Chriss as long as he can keep his fouls and temper down.

Yeah, I'm fine with him too. I prefer Bender but Chriss could end up better and they both have bust potential. I prefer either over anyone else at 4.

I wonder if the Kings are willing to trade their pick. Depending on who is available at 8 during the draft, maybe the Suns could trade Knight straight up for the pick. The Kings need a point guard and Knight was a Kentucky Wildcat like Cousins was.

After tomorrow nobody will care about what position pick 4 plays, we'll only care if he's any good or not.

I do too I suppose, but if we're trading Bledsoe Dunn makes a ton of sense as well, and he is probably the safest pick of the group.

Holy Shot! ESPN analytics project Chriss with the third highest chance of being an Allstar and the third most upside!?!

Marquese Chriss very similar stats to Paul George at college.

Per 40 - points / rebounds / assists / steals / blocks / TO
George 20 / 8 / 3 / 2 / 1 / 3
Chriss 22 / 8 / 1 / 1 / 2 / 3

Yeah, if we are trading Bledsoe (which I think there is very little chance we are) I'd definitely be happy with Dunn. Still be worried about what we do at PF, but I'd be happy taking whoever landed at 13, and I guess we could end up with 8 if we traded Dunn and could maybe end up with Bender or Chriss there, and if not, Skal, and then at 13 take a safer pick like Sabonis. Ellenson also a possibility at either spot...my opinions on him change daily.

Thats cool and all, but PG was known for his defense in college, and that is one of the reasons he is such a great player in the NBA.

Yeah, the way these guys talk about him it makes me think that I'd hate to see us not get him if he blew up how they think...but I'm guessing they said the same thing about Tyrus Thomas, Stromile Swift, etc....I'm fine rolling the dice. I like him...really liked his interview and love guys that can shoot 3s and block shots.

I don't think we will pass him up if he's there at this point.

The biggest question is, if Boston takes him, who will we take then?

PG was also playing against much, much worse competition in the Western Atlantic Conference

I don't think Chriss is the Paul George type, but it probably wasn't too hard for him to look good against the like of Idaho, Nevada, Utah State, and New Mexico State

I've talked myself into being good with Marquese Chriss.

We need a transcendent player and even if it's a hail mary, better to take that shot.

Love Buddy Hield (my clear 2nd pick behind Simmons) but resigned to not taking him.

Two things to check out in Boston forum....this one isn't regarding the draft, but you might like to view the poll (and vote overrated)..

viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1455815

And then who their fans most want to draft at 3..

PG also had legit guard skills (passing, ball handling, decision making) and high BBIQ

I just don't understand it with Chriss. He has narrow shoulders and a long neck. He can jump high and kind of shoot. That's all he can do. He can't defend, can't rebound (he can offensive rebound a tad), and can't pass. I have him off my board for #4 completely. Anyone seeing Amare or Marion in this kid is projecting their desires instead of seeing reality.

Bender, Hield, Murray, Ellenson.

I think most here agree with you but many are resigned to the fact we will probably take him and I guess this team does need to swing for the fences. I just wonder who the pick will be if Boston takes Chriss.
