Name calling is bullying behavior and I am going to call it out. The very definition of a bully is one who does damage to others who are not in a position to retaliate. Internet message boards are a place where it happens often because people can say anything they want without others responding.

Mcdope should've been about done by now, we should at least be competitive and in the playoff picture. Looking for that big f/a in a trade or signing. Instead we're looking to tank, and not even do that right. And on top of that phx with the rep of not treating players right, etc. If we make the playoffs as a 6 seed before 2021, it'll be a miracle.

Lol

Maybe out east...

Out west, Suns are no way near the playoff picture. There are legit 9-10 teams clearly better than the Suns out west.

Expectations too high... hence disappointment.

Len is playing for a contract and in doing so, makes me want to keep him, not that I never didn't want to. He simplified his game and is playing up to his height, for the most part. We can't afford to lose him if we don't draft a rookie center that is ready in year 1. Jury is still out on Chriss, I've never been a big fan, he did show tremendous upside after the all-star break last year, but since then he's been lackadaisical to say the least. I don't know why everyone keeps suggesting Warren to be a 6th man type. He seems fine as a starter, especially if Bender can consistently hit the three, that'll open the floor up for Warren.

Because of Jackson. If he can be a starter in the future he can't be in the same lineup with Warren.

I understand that, but right now Warren is clearly the better player. Maybe after 3 seasons Jackson can take that spot, or hopefully even sooner, not that I think Warren is doing a bad job. I'm still not sure Warren is good for the 6th man type. Sure, he's fairly efficient, but I don't see him being thrilled coming off the bench. If he develops a 3 point shot, I can't see Jackson taking the spot either.

Five passes to get a good pick and roll. Nice.

We also don't have ball-hog Booker in there.

That's the point, in fact. Not being in the playoffs for going on 8 years for a rebuilding process should put phx in a position to be competitive sooner than later, but as you said, we're not even close.

For the fine organization the suns used to be, it would hardly be a lofty expectation, but for this particular version.....we're just hoping for draft picks that don't completely bust. Expectations should be higher.

You're taking it too seriously. But keep calling out where you can.

Plus Monroe's expiring gives them some options if Lebron leaves for LA or some other place. Lebron likes Delly. I am pretty sure he is sort of running the show anyway. As for a Bucks fan we have to get out of Delly and Telly's contracts and since were taking back basically the same or slightly a little more while getting the kind of vets you need on a playoff contender, its a no brainier. What about Phoenix getting DJ Wilson and a 2nd as part of the deal?

Cavs fan here. Delly sucks, I never want to see him in a Cavs uniform again and if Lebron really liked Delly don't you think he would still be a Cav. As for a trade with Phoenix, how about Thompson for Chandler or Shumpert and a filler for Chandler. I know he is old but the Cavs only need him sparingly and desperately need a rim protector. I would take Monroe for either Thompson or Shumpert as well if Chandler isn't possible. Monroe isn't a rim protector but Cavs could use his scoring inside.

Chandler is not a rim protector at all. Good defensive rebounder though if you count it as defense.

Thompson, Love, Frye, and Zicic, all the guys that play Center for the Cavs. Chandler would be an upgrade with his length in the aspect of rim protection. To me it was in comparison to what the Cavs already have. If you are a Suns fan, I take your word for it though that Chandler isn't a rim protector since you see a lot more Suns game than me.

Reed is a rookie coming back from pretty major knee surgery. Daniels has played very well for us in his role.

I just don't see Reed unseating Daniels ...not this year at least.

Could see Daniel's getting moved at some point before the deadline and Reed getting more minutes. Not sure what his value would be.

Yeah, I've been thinking that I won't be surprised if some team comes calling about Daniels. Or if they want him along with Monroe.

Hmmm, Rockets with five losses in a row ... probably gonna have to pay Capela this off-season.

Was hoping he would play tonight in G-League ... apparently not.

Depends what we do after the All-Star break.

If we go full tank again Chandler, Monroe, Dudley, Daniels, Canaan might go missing.

Whoa. Maybe I've underestimated how critical a finishing big is to D'Antoni's offense. I guess it's worth remembering how hard we (and the Knicks) fell off without Amare...

Tyson would be solid Capela insurance. Houston is in the southwest. Chris Paul and Tyson have a good relationship (or so I've read). I can't think of a 2-way trade that makes sense, though. All of their big contracts are rotation guys that can't be spared.

Rockets head coach Mike D’Antoni told me last season that, other than point guard, center is “the most important piece” on his teams because of the position’s direct impact in pick-and-rolls, transition offense, and defense. Daryl Morey, Houston’s GM, also called Capela the prototypical center for their system.
