Anyone one else wondering if we will see a lot of Bledsoe/Knight/Booker/Len/Chandler lineup next year. Len wasn't great at the 4, but he definitely progressed as the season went on, so far as I could tell. Two tall timbers surrounded by fast attacking/shooting guards. The paucity of decent offensive PF's in the league might make this lineup work really well.

I believe Watson said that we won't be seeing Len and Chandler on the floor together in one of his interviews, I think it was with Dave King but I'm not positive. Either way, I wouldn't want to waste minutes at PF playing Len out of position when we drafted 2 rookies that primarily will play PF and need playing time.

Those charts don't make any sense. Correct me if I'm wrong, but should they not be somewhat inversely related? If we are only less rested than our opponents 14 times or so (first chart), then it seems like we should be more rested than our opponents more often than what the second chart indicates (16 times or so). Is he saying we have the EXACT same rest of opponents 52 times? Due to different start times of games, I'd think the first two numbers should add up to at least 70.

I didn't think about start times and I bet those charts don't attempt to account for them either. It must just be number of days off between games. So yeah, you would think if we're low on the 'more rested' chart we'd be high on the 'less rested' chart, but we must just be really high on the not-shown 'equally rested' chart.

I hadn't heard that Watson piece, but I still think it might be interesting to see. That gives us a bench rotation of Ulis, Barbosa, Warren, Tucker, Dudley, Chriss, Bender, Williams

of course we might also go completely offensive with

Bledsoe, Knight, Booker, Warren, Bender....5-out

There are several lineups I'd like to see but none of them involve Len and Chandler together. You just can't have two space eaters like that with guards that like to penetrate. If we had a bunch of jump shooting guards maybe we could survive but two bigs, each with limited range, would be a killer for players like Bledsoe, Knight and Goodwin.

I'd prefer to see that lineup over the one in your first post, but I've been a supporter of Warren playing more PF this season, so I'm a bit biased. Plus, Chandler shouldn't be starting, IMO. The future is Len, or our 2017 1st Rd Draft Pick--not Chandler. If Watson is true to his word, we'll be seeing more of the younger guys, and I think we need to find out this season whether Len is our Future at the 5 or not, so to me, barring injury, he needs to play the lion's share of the minutes.

Now, on Booker playing the 3? I'm not sure I want to see a lot of that look, especially defensively. IF we do play Warren at the 4, then in the short-term, start Duds or PJ, until later in the season, at the 3/4, I want to see Bender/Warren, Warren/Bender, or Warren/Chriss, with the 1/2 being Bledsoe/Booker.

So, to start the season:

Bledsoe/Booker/Dudley/Warren/Len...then...Ulis or Knight/Knight or Barbosa/PJ or Bender/Chriss or PJ/Chandler or Williams

IMO, we need to have a pretty good idea where Bender/Chriss are by next year's draft would be nice, but definitely by the 2018 draft; that's the year we might have 2 draft picks in the 1st, though possibly in 2019.

That's if we go the route of building through the draft; If McD/Watson get the opportunity to grab a 'star' in FA, well than, we have young guys (Knight, Len, Warren, Goodwin, Ulis, Bender, Chriss--NOT Booker, and preferably not Warren) and picks to trade to make that happen.

At least only die hard Suns fans probably follow them on twitter at this point. But it does seem weird that we are using Game of Thrones references when our team in recent years would be as reliable and as fun as Theon Greyjoy and his experiences.

We only won 2 out of 12 games where we had 2 days+ rest.

And won 4 out of 14 back to backs.

Stats over history show that it's a tiny factor, but commentators have to talk about something.
