TJ is the huge bright spot of the year. He will be a great building piece or command lots of trade attention. The fact he has added a three point shot is just amazing.

52% shooting this year.
44% from three. (40 of 90, no fluke)

That is incredible efficiency.

My favorite Sun, rn. Have always loved his game, from before we drafted him and all the way through. My thought was, if efficient volume scorer but nothing else is the floor, what does the ceiling look like? Glad to see him approaching it.

Kinda crazy that something with a fairly high water mark 'only' has a bonus of $250k which is about 2.3% of his salary. For someone earning $60k, that only about $1.4k. It's still money but it just seems small

I think someone earning $60K would gladly take a $1.4K bonus.

I don't even know what I'd do with $60k/year. I have almost always made around $30k/year on average. I'd be **** balling.

I'm just saying that in the grand scheme of $11m , a quarter mil isn't much for such a high water mark. Neither is the net take home pay of a $1.4k bonus.

Of course, it depends on where you live, how many people is depdent on you and whatever else but I don't think it's a particular big bonus. When I think of corporate bonuses, they are around 5%+

Man, you gotta get out to Vegas and find a bar tender job or something similar, these guys are casually making like 80-100k.

Sure, but I hope he's just not spending it all. No matter how much you make, $250K is still a good amount of money unless you have hundreds of millions of dollars or more.

After taxes that 1.4K bonus is about $800.
At least here in Oregon, I've found that almost half of my bonuses go towards taxes.

Even in Oregon the minimum wage for servers is still like $11.25 an hour, plus they get tips. I think they easily make at least 40-60k depending the location and if you are working 40 hours a week. Though, cost of living is a lot higher here in Oregon than it is in Vegas.

Maybe I'll move to Vegas in a couple of years if I can sell my house and try to live my dream of being a semi-professional poker player. :D

I also live in San Diego, where it's getting crazy expensive. But, I'm also lazy and try to work as little as possible because every second at work is the worst second ever. But I'm good at surviving on little money. I should get into bartending though, but I am also becoming more and more reclusive as I get older. I hate people more and more. Hah.

San Diego is where it's at. Had a lot of great memories while I was stationed there for 9 months. Though I was living on a base so I didn't have to deal with high priced housing. I was in the Point Loma area, close to the air port. Those were the days....

So he needs both attempts and % to get the bonus or he gets 2x 250k$ for both?

Please let all our players do whatever TJ has done this offseason to improve his shooting.

A typical Warren's game against the Knicks. You think he didn't score much but then you check the box score and you wonder "when did he got that 26 points on 11/18 shooting?" :o

Boggles the mind how TJ keeps up his efficiency.

I think we must be really underrating how good an athlete he is. No doubt it takes heaps of energy to 1) get as many good looks as he does 2) be fresh enough to shoot the ball as well as he is.

He's a bloody enigma.

HIs ability to adjust his body in the air is amazing. I shake my head at the crazy two pointers around the rim that he makes. Josh Jackson should watch a bunch of tape on TJ Warren. Then Josh Jackson should work with TJ's shooting coach this summer and that guy who trained TJ should be charging $500K for a summers worth of shooting work.

Wow, not sure how you make it in San Diego with that. I now live fairly cheaply too (as opposed to a while back) but Austin is cheaper than San Diego too.

Had a short argument with a dude on the trade board who called him a role player and seemed annoyed that we wouldnt want to trade Tj for Ellenson, Leuer and a late protected first that only would convey if it fell late first for 3 years and turned into two seconds. Explained that that ROLE PLAYER was our second leading scorer and has averaged near 20 a game the last two years, has improved every year he has been in the league and had an EXCELLENT contract. Idiot came back with the usual Suns are trash and he isn't really good because the team sucks. I am trying not to get warned or suspended any more, (Chuck hates me it seems, some of the **** I post is HALARIOUS), so I had to just turn the other cheek. Its hard to listen to some of these idiots and not clap back, feels like our fan base gets **** on and sanctioned a lot on the main boards to me but I am biased.

I have so many friends here that have college degrees that prefers to bartend here. Its insane money if you get a gig here somewhere on the strip.
I have worked few day clubs while I was in school, I think I made more money(with tips) even as a food runner than I currently make working in management. Should've just stuck in the service industry.

You can just move here and rent out on of my rooms and try your luck
