Makes sense that Keef is off to see the Wizard(s)...

Seeing as though he has no brains and no heart.

No scorers left, season unwatchable for real now.

Did Toronto really stand pat? Can't believe they wouldn't make Tucker or Tele deals.

Washington just got better. A lot better. A different Kieff will be playing for them.

Yup. And the Wiz have the easiest schedule in the league after the break.

I just hope the Suns get the pick

Surprised that Teletovic wasn't traded - but that was such an odd fit since he is an expiring and non Bird rights - he seemed like a trade where his salary would have been added

Assuming the pick conveys, I am sure we'll try to move up to the 2 or 1 by combining 2 or all 3 picks we have.
That's assuming we don't get it.

Do we use the latter pick for a draft and stash now?
I would def want to get a couple young guys to develop between those.

Jesus man if we hadn't traded Kieff at all you'd be singing an entirely different tune! You, out of all people on the Suns forum should be ecstatic that we traded Kieff for anything!
Yeah I wish we got more, but meh, still a win... kind of.

This is much better than the Toronto pick and PPat (they would have never traded us that NY/Denver pick) or probably the Detroit pick. Why don't you like it?

Ehh if you're talking to me I like it a lot more than anything we could have gotten on the Raptors. I've been mentioning all year that we should be trading Kieff to the Wizards, and I feel like we actually traded Kieff to them at the perfect time. Example being if we had traded Kieff earlier in the year to the Wizards they could have a far better record, and for now they are playing catch up to make the playoffs and as such we will be getting a better pick. But as I mentioned I feel like we could have gotten Oubre from the Wizards. Maybe give them the Cavs pick back. If the Wizards are trying to be legit suitors for Durant over the offseason than I don't see a reason for them keeping Oubre (as well as Porter). Then again, the likely hood of Durant leaving the Thunder is pretty low.

Hmmmm...how could any of us foreseen (t)his reaction to the trade?

It would likely be more like 15th or 16th if they turn it around and get into the playoffs. I'm fine with it. I love it actually. I wanted him gone. I guess I wanted him gone even more than you did, surprisingly.

Washington will not improve much with Kieff. Just my opinion.

I bet they were waiting for the Suns to cave and take whatever they had on the table and McD said "eff that" and took the Wizards deal, which was likely better anyway.

They are probably as high on Oubre and Porter as we are on Booker and Warren. No way they give those guys up. I know people dream about stuff but that was never gonna happen.

Beal's been on and off injured so another injury to em or any of the Wizards for that matter, they won't be making the playoffs. They don't have a lot of depth.

I am just disappointed because this season has been over for a while and it is another year of bad basketball. I thought the Suns would get more today in trades too. At least we never have to see Markieff play for the Suns again.
