Is there a list somewhere of our Suns RealGM board posters Twitter handles? I had to make my personal account private so I made a new one for Basketball / Suns talk and want to catch up with some of you on there.

Follow me @wildcatsun if you like. Thank you.

NY out: Porzingis, Melo
NY in: KLove, Warren, Bender, Miami 1st

CLE out: Kyrie
CLE in: Melo, Bledsoe

PHX out: Warren, Bender, Bledsoe, Miami 1st
PHX in: Kyrie, Porzingis

I say no to any trade that brings us Kyrie.

You'd rather have 28yr old Bled than 25yr old Kyrie

It's not about Bled I just don't want Kyrie.

Ok but if we trade Bledsoe, which is very possible, who's playing PG? We're not drafting one? There's not great young FA's. Kyrie is an allstar...I don't get it

If we don't draft a PG then I'm sure we are not gonna trade Bledsoe at least for next season.

I posted the history of what a #4 pick typically turns out to be in another thread. There's a better chance it historically becomes an average or less player than it does a star.

And yes every draft is created differently, but a lot of those former #4 picks came into the league with pretty good hype. The draft is just such a crapshoot, even when picking towards the top.

The Lakers already moved a #2 pick from two years ago in a salary dump. KP with no improvement is a proven really good player and considering he's only 21, there should be quite a bit of improvement left for him.

Like others have said though, this is all probably for nada, I can't imagine Phil will move KP and if he does he'll get killed if all he gets is #4 and Chriss.

OK. You arent negotiating here. So just stop it. You sound like the guy trying to buy a used car who comes up with all kinds of arguments about why its a bad car. If Chriss is so bad, why do you want him? If the #4 pick is so bad, why in the world would you trade a known quantity in KP for it? This is a historically deep draft. Teams are clamoring for a shot to get into it--even the Knicks.

Phil would be stupid to move KP unless he has to. The fact that he is on the trading block right now at all seems to indicate that he thinks he has to. After all, its PJ that has started all the trade discussion about KP.

Personally I would not do Chriss and the #4. I would do #4, Bender, plus another asset (1st round pick) or take back a bad contract. But I am not doing the negotiating.

Why are you talking to him as if he's a Knicks fan? search.php?st=0&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&author_id=142059&start=20#start_here

I don't think so but there is a place to put it in your profile, so if you look at user profiles you might find some.

Ainge doesn'tseem to be the type to take on Aldridge - but I guess you never know

Ainge is pretty smart - he won't be taken like some teams with Spurs

*looks at 2015 trade deadline*

With respect to the Porzingis for the 4/Chriss rumor - I have a feeling that was never on the table or there is more like - the Suns need to take Joakim Noah and that contract. Jordan Schultz is not reliable.

Me personally, that deal would be done if truly Chriss or Warren or Bender plus the 4

What about the Rockets - Morey wants to move Beverly, Sweet Lou or Anderson; Barbosa has a non guaranteed deal until July 3

Beverly - who is a tough guy, good defender, for Barbosa and the Rockets first round pick in 2019 Or does Beverly not work well with Ulis

Only thing they have that would be attractive to Ainge for the #3 pick would be Kawhi and I doubt Spurs trade him.

Barbosa for Beverly and a future 1st? Am I reading that right? I get the salary dumpness of it but Beverly makes only about 5m.

Beverly makes 6m - signed for two more years, through 2019
Williams makes 7m, signed for one more year, through 2018
Barbosa has a deal of 4m but only 500k guaranteed if waived by 7/3

So the Rockets would clear either 5.5 or 6.5m in savings to try to get CP3, Lowry, etc

Per the ESPN trade machine, the Suns could take both Williams and Beverly for Barbosa but that would use up all the cap space and the Suns probably would still only get the 1 first round pick. So, for that part of the trade, if the Rockets wanted to move Capela for Derrick Jones and a 2019 first - well, there you go, buying assets.
Rockets would save about 12m bucks - but the Suns would need Capela and the 2019 first . Not sure if a smart move - just a way to get assets.

Kawhi is so off-limits its not funny.

Its like having just-before prime Durant or Lebron..... they are complete definition of UNTOUCHABLE,

Man, would it change our outlook if BK became a real, worthwhile player. Just a pipe dream though. He needs a brain transplant for that to happen.

I bet the did and I bet Boston hung up. So help me god if the suns take that package....
