Probably because of all his time overseas with the shorter line.

That can't be a gokd excuse..

it's not really valid. variety of misses.

biggest issue is how flat the shot is most of the time, means very little margin for error. Better results when he gets arc on it

Still more than 3 months until the first game, better to happen now I guess.

Guessing this could still mean it's worse than a sprain.

Chriss looks ok on the bench, bad sprains are only a couple of weeks.

Rip Hamilton has no idea what Bender's game is. Uncomfortable on the perimeter my ass

Jackson's handle is going to get Booker more spot ups, love that.

Really love what we're seeing from Bender today. The shots will fall with reps and age, but the passing and versatility he's showing is exactly what we drafted him for.

Suns really need to start taking advantage of Booker's shooting gravity. More off-ball stuff that allows screeners to slip. Jackson/Bender both great passers can hit him in rhythm and also capitalize when people cheat towards Booker.

James needs to stop barreling into the lane and getting caught in the air with no one to pass to.

he's got that bad lead guard tendency when things get tough. Drive into traffic with no plan hoping to get fouled or find a bailout pass

Bender getting so many good looks and just can't make anything.
His ball handling is very shaky too. I don't see a future for him in the PG area. Not this season at least. Doesn't look comfortable as a ball handler at all.

I don't think he'll ever be in the PG/point forward mold, but rather a guy who can grab and go a bit in transition and maybe eventually run some PnR.

Most of his passing is either from a static position to cutters/gaps, or after a roll, or a drop off after one dribble. On-ball playmaker for sure, not a park off-ball guy, but not much off the dribble.

I still can't that insane defensive potential everyone sees in JJ.. it just seems like he doesn't care on defense.
