I would consider Olynyk a bit more valuable than him, and he only got $12.5 million per year, so I can't imagine Len getting any more than that? Going to be interesting to see how the Chandler, Len, and Williams situation plays out for us.

I just wonder if we can get him on a dirt cheap contract, would we really let him walk? It seems some think we would maybe just let him walk.

Well this is Miami's team for 3-4 years. They can't do anything else but Whiteside/Olynk/Adebajo should be an excellent front court trio.

He's super solid defensively and had his best year offensively...that does seem like a bit of an overpay though..but I guess in this league you gotta pay what you need to if you want to keep a guy.

Well he got paid more than Waiters so obviously the Heat think so too. That doesn't mean it wasn't very questionable to hand out a long term contract at 15M+ a year to a 30 year old who just had the only significantly impactful season of his career.

I think we gift you guys a lotto pick in '21, just don't trade it like y'all did with the Lakers pick.

Knicks: "ok tim, here is a 71 mil offer sheet. We understand if you want to sleep on it...

Oh nevermind, he's already signed it and booked his own flight to Atlanta to deliver it."

This makes the Knight contract look great

Hey Hawks - here you go - Hardaway Jr for 71m or Knight for 44m for three years

I actually think Brandon Knight might be a better player

If I am the Hawks I let him walk. Now of course, being sarcastic about Knight - but no way do I pay Hardaway that

I just looked at the Hawks roster - they should really try for Enes Kanter - they need a PF type who can score the ball in the low post. Granted, how to turn the assets they have into Kanter - is another thing but I think I let Hardaway walk

That pick is for sure not going to be a lottery pick. Not sure what will happen with the 2021 when all these guys are gone or going but the 2018 pick will be given to the Suns

Not seeing how MIA is going to pull it off either. Bam and Johnson into our cap for next year's pick returned? Whiteside for Chandler? Both seem far fetched.

Miami getting the Mavs to take McRoberts to fit under cap

Jazz and Celtics not getting much traction on a S&T - good for you jazz - don't just take Crowder

If the Celtics need to move players: Bradley /Smart for Chandler
