Why is this obsession with Brogdon ? Is he better than Mudiay + pick ? Is Mudiay really that bad and can't improve ?

Brogdon is leaps and bounds better than Mudiay. He plays within himself and plays a 2way game. Mudiay hasn't shown much, can't shoot, isn't a good passer, he's just not very good.

I dont think you guys will get a fair deal for Bledsoe. Most teams have a good PG and those that dont are either rebuilding so they dont need Bledsoe or are trying to get into the playoffs and dont want to weaken themselves by giving much. Dont get me wrong Bledsoe is a good player but despite putting good numbers he has some big issues. There is his injury history, his defense seems to have regressed, he cant spread the floor, is not a good floor general and is inefficient in scoring. That severely limits his fit with other teams. Add to that that he wants out and his value is even lover.

So if i looked correctly we are:
-12nd in offensive rating
-11th in defensive rating
-8th in net rating
in these 3 games under Triano.

I'm really impressed with Triano. Maybe our luck has changed.

Bledsoe is a worthless player and right now I would be happy just getting a 1st round pick in return. He is only elite at a few things
1. Shooting percentage ... nope ... career .444
2. Three point percentage ... nope ... career .330
3. Assists ... nope ... career 4.6/games for PG ???
4. Turnovers ... nope ... 3.4/game since joining the Suns
5. Defense ... nope ... Defensive +/- 0.3 since he's been in Phoenix
6. Leader / communicator ... nope ... he can barely speak complete sentences
7. Be disgruntled about contract negotiations ... yep ... Elite !!
8. Missed games ... yep ... missed 100 games for Phoenix out of 334
9. Bad knees ... yep ... two of them
We will be lucky to get a turd plus a pick back for him.

Perfect for Lebron. Cleveland can send that Brooklyn pick.

to me, Denver and Bucks make the most sense
they have players they can move in Faried, Arthur, Teletovic plus a draft pick where contracts can match Bledsoe - plus , they can add a young player, Mudiay or DJ Wilson
also, if Ryan really wants Chandler - well that might mean no draft pick but you can add Monroe and Arthur and deals are cap workable
both teams are invested enough financially that Bled helps both. not sure how far both go, Bucks in the East go farther - but if you are the Nuggets and you have Plumlee and Millsap with big deals - you got to press it.
I'm not sure why the Bucks are so hesitant to trade Brogdon. He's only 3 years younger, and Bledsoe is better, and replaces him, and makes them better now, with a potential MVP candidate in the making. They need to take advantage of the Greek's play this year, and Bledsoe gives gives them a better chance to win than Brogdon.
If the Bucks are smart, they find a way to give up Brogdon, take Bledsoe, and be happy about it, which means either having us take on contracts they don;t want, which we can, or we make a big trade with a lot of pieces, or we bring in a 3rd team with a piece they think will make the difference with Bledsoe.
IMO, they will regret not jumping on this opportunity; Brogdon will not be leading them to a Championship bid, and while Bledsoe may not seem like he can either, not sure anyone can deny he gives them the better chance.
Bledsoe/Snell/Middleton/Greek/Thon? Chandler? Monroe?
Maybe that's what they need...a third team to offer up a Center...
I think the hesitation involves the combination of three problems:
1. Bledsoe's injury history. Middleton, Bledsoe and Parker are the three best players after Giannis - so his entire supporting cast will be injury prone.
2. Money. Brogdon's cheap for three years, and Bledsoe's going to want a huge raise in two years. Giannis is young and you have to play long-term. Limits the upside of a Bledsoe acquisition.
3. Shooting. Giannis needs shooting around him, and Brogdon's their best shooting guard.
Which is all to say that this isn't a slam dunk for Milwaukee. I get it. I just don't see why we'd be so excited about taking the other side of this deal.
Basically all of that, and then the 4th thing is:
There's no real reason for Milwaukee to include Brogdon in an offer until another team forces the issue. Perhaps McD feels differently, but personally, I think Mudiay is just a completely **** player. IMO, Monroe's massive expiring contract + a protected 1st > Mudiay, Faried (who Denver wants to be rid of and is basically a good rebounder and bad at everything else), and a protected 1st round pick.
Unless Denver starts adding pieces with legitimate value, Knicks offer Frank/Willy (which doesn't sound like it's happening), etc., it just doesn't really make sense for Milwaukee to offer Brogdon. A Bledsoe/Brogdon/Middleton/Giannis quartet would be a really dynamic foursome, and that's without factoring in Thon or eventually Jabari. If Milwaukee can get Phoenix to bite without having to include Brogdon or Thon, obviously that would be preferred for them.

Brogdon or bust. Don't really want anything else from Milwaukee, so if he's not included, the Bucks can kick rocks.

Worst case scenario, we'll take a 1st, Beasley, Juancho, Arthur and Mudiay from Denver for Bledsoe.

What makes you say that? Assuming the picks are lotto protected, Denver will most likely have the better pick between Milwuakee and Denver. Faried would be coming off the books at the same time that Bledsoe would have, so there's no real change in cap situation with us, and even if Mudiay has looked bad he's still young and at least worth taking a shot at developing. I don't think one less year of paying Monroe outweighs taking a flier on Mudiay and picking ~5 picks sooner.

Can't do it. Even if we cut DJJ we'd have to cut one more person from the 15 and who is that going to be?

Mike James since their acquiring 2 guards in the deal in Beasley and Mudiay.
Or Alec Peters.

I agree entirely. I'm guessing what we have on the table is something like Monroe + protected 1st + 2nd ("final offer"):
Phoenix trades: Bledsoe, Dudley for MIL 1st (prot.), MIL 2d
Milwaukee trades: Monroe, MIL 1st (prot.), MIL 2d for Bledsoe and C. Aldrich
Minnesota trades: C. Aldrich for Dudley
My guess is we think those deals will still be out there a month or two from now and we would prefer to move Chandler for an expiring, too, while we're at it. I could also see Philly wanting to get in on this - but their relevant contracts (Johnson ($11M) and Redick ($23M) are not tradeable before 12/15.

Re: Season Speculation, Trade Ideas & Discussion Pt. 2
Bad contracts? Who cares?
Dudley and Chandler expire next year. Bledsoe will be gone. No one else is going to be making any money.
We need to have some guys around to fill up the cap anyway.
And other then adding a few guys from the 2018 draft, we won't be signing any free agents.
From the Bucks point of view, Bledsoe is wanted but giving them cap relief probably pushes them over the edge.
Henson + either Delly or Telly + Borgdon + a lotto protected 2018 1st rounder for Bledsoe and a 2nd rounder.
Works well for both teams.
