doesnt matter - Bledsoe has more pull, Bledsoe is younger -> Lebron comes to play with Bledsoe first, Dragic and the rest second

Someone said earlier the reason Miami couldn't beat San Antonio was lack of interior presence. I agree with that, but I'd also like to add athleticism, depth, shooting, perimeter defense, and offense generally as advantages we have on the Heat, Lebron excluded.

Disadvantages? Experience, and conference. Wrong conference.

That's not true and the article has nothing to do with what you're saying. LeBron, Durant and Griffin mistakenly received Most Improved Player votes. Goran earned all 3 of his 5th place MVP votes, no mistakes.

Time to make an appearance on the insane hopes of getting LeBron/Melo or Love, let's do this!

You trying to tell me you would take Bledsoe over dragic?
But not sure if Bledsoe is worth a max?

You can't win!

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

Yeah according to others I've been insane for the past few months saying Lebron, Bosh, or Melo was an option. Now we are talking about Lebron and Melo. :D :D :D

Let us pray that the Kevin Love trade hype is dead and gone.

Suns would look extremely intriguing for Lebron if we got Love. Which would make Love sign an extension with us. This trade seems to work.
Suns get-
Kevin Love

Wolves get-
Dragic
Morris bros
Lakers 2015 1st, Suns 2016 1st, whatever the 27th pick turns into.

It leaves the Suns with pretty good assets still. If we signed Lebron we could have this lineup.
Bledsoe/Green/Lebron/Love/Plumlee

Our bench only has Archie and Len. I think we'd still have enough money if we time it correctly to get a couple other free agents. Enter Ray Allen, maybe Josh McBob, really have no idea who else.

18th + 2nd round pick + Green for Afflalo

Bledsoe/Afflalo/LeBron/Love/Plumlee

I would take Gerald Green over Arron Afflalo. Green makes only 3.5 million a year while Afflalo makes over 7.5 million a year. Look at their stats comparison:

Afflalo: 18.2 ppg, 3.6 rbs, 3.4 asst, 46% fg, 42.7% 3pts, 81.5% ft, 0.0 blk, 0.5 stl, 2 TO, 35 minutes per game

Green: 15.8 ppg, 3.4 rbs, 1.5 asst, 44.5% fg, 40% 3pts, 84.8% ft, 0.5 blk, 0.9 stl, 1.8 TO, 28.4 minutes per game

So they have virtually the exact same statistics except Green plays close to seven minutes less per game. Not to mention, but Green is 6'8" while Afflalo is 6'5". Green's athleticism also makes him able to raise his game to a different level offensively because very few players in the league can jump like him.

Doubt Green and late 1st rounders would get it done. Afflalo is a more complete player but Green fits well as an athletic gunner.

Agreed here. Green is cheaper and could play the 2 or the 3.
He'd fit better too (financially) if we want to make a run at LeBron and/or Melo

The Phoenix Suns are equally active, looking at options on both the 13th pick and the 27th pick. Sources close to that situation say the 27th pick is likely going to be flipped on draft night for a future asset, but that the Suns are still very much open to deals involving not only their two picks, but players on their roster.

There has been some scuttle that Phoenix might be open to moving Goran Dragic, although Suns sources adamantly denied that Dragic was available. There is a sense, however, that other parts of the Suns roster could be had for the right return.

The Suns are sitting on a potential mountain of cap space and want to get involved in the free agent run, including what’s believed to be an aggressive pitch to Carmelo Anthony.

The Suns have also been at the Minnesota Timberwolves regarding Kevin Love, but have found their assets are not as attractive to Minnesota as some of the other suitors, mainly because the Wolves covet proven veterans not younger players.

The Suns are very much in play as we march up to the NBA Draft. At worst, they are moving their second first round pick and best they could get involved in bigger move up or move out kind of trade, especially if it yields the right kind of impact veterans.

That's encouraging to see that we're actively seeking a superstar. It also bodes well for us that all the available superstars are either SF's or PF's, our two biggest positions on need.

That was poorly written. Hard to take anything seriously when the writer cites the wrong picks. I looked up the author and it turns out to be the founder of hoopsworld, posters on this forum have more credibility.

yeah I was thinking the same thing. "13th" pick and no mention of the 18th pick. certainly hard to take someone seriously that doesn't take the time to visit one of the hundreds of sites that list the draft order.

Taking that article with a grain of salt. I don't see Melo as McD's type of player. Other than that, we have a ton of cap space which we hope to use on a star and Melo is out there; author just put two and two together.

Bigfoot, I don't think you are advocating this, but no way should Suns ever sign Melo. Never. Melo's ISO style doesn't fit this teams "team" approach to playing basketball. ISO ball is so 80's-90's.
