Yeah, Okafor and Randle would be pretty good compensation for Boogie. They would be more of an old school front court though unless Randle developed Range.

That frontcourt court could also turn out be a huge defensive liability

That's true too. They could always try to flip Randle for a better defender and/or shooter.

Darkhorse pediction: KLove goes back home to RipCity where his "heart has always been". This UCLA-Lakers media connection/wishful speculation is bs

Agreed.

I think it'll be a S&T getting Jordan to DAL for Tyson Chandler

Well, look at each team that has been mentioned:

Cleveland: makes sense why he would stay there. Competitive team, Eastern conference, legitimate title teams

Boston: they play in the East - lower standards to get to the finals.

Portland: young nucleus, but they traded for Vonleh and Plumlee, does he fit? and they need to bring back Mathews - but this makes sense

Lakers: ZERO sense unless he wants to live in LA. which is fine. But going to LA isn't about winning. Kobe is leaving; they don't have jack squat but young players in Randle and Russell who are years away.

Suns: after Cleveland and maybe Portland - makes sense. good young nucleus of Bledsoe, Len and Knight who are all getting better. other foundational pieces. strictly froma basketball winning - would put them maybe third behind Cleve and Portland .

Boston and LA to me make ZERO sense for Love from a winning an NBA title perspective

The Lakers have some nice young players and will have loads of cap space after next season. I think they're second in the running after Cleveland. I don't think Portland necessarily has a brighter future than LA.

True. But Randle is unproven and Russell has high bust potential and LAL has almost zero chance of making the postseason even if they land a marquee FA. I think the Blazers are also losing Matthews and after trading Batum really only have Lililard as the centerpiece of their core but that might be marginally better

Lakers do have cap space next summer. But, if you are Love or Aldridge - this year is not going to be easy even with Kobe,Russell d Randal. Oh yes, I forgot, they also have Nick Young. In the West, that is not a play off team. So, Love or Aldridge go there and tey get boatloads of cap space next summer - they sign some guy Maybe. That's a big if.

I think if I am Love it Cleveland,Portland and Phoenix. Unless a team like the Spurs call you.

Phoenix probably not in the mix but unless it lifestyle -- Lakers shouldn't either.

Too many variations to put them all in there. I'll have to take one off and add that one though.

That makes sense. That option is the last choice now.
