Literally the only person worthy of re-tweets here and the only person reliable is ESPN's Woj. That's it. Woj or bust. Everyone else is playing internet reporter trying to be cool and secretive and in-the-know. The internet has made a joke out of "insiders" and "reporters."

This whole fake news thing isn't restricted to just CNN

Zero chance that happens. They have no cap space, especially to overpay Oubre enough to leave us.

So we have a NevelNugget, a Shamwow, and a Wojbomb all saying they are being shopped, and local reporters Gambo and new AZCentral guy who i refuse to remember his name saying they are being told they absolutely are not being shopped.

Hmmmmmm.....who to trust.....who to trust?

lol. Don't 'Gambo' yourself here. One, they can clear cap. Anybody can. It's not brain surgery. Two, he can sign cheap just to be with Russ and PG13. They all homies -- he'll take a pay cut to be w/ a more superior team. Just like Boogie did. Just like 1,000's of other NBA players do.

Oubre makes the suns better. His being a RFA doesn’t really matter to the suns except for his cap hold. If we renounce him and get no free agents then it’s all for nothing. Leave oubre alone and resign him at the end of free agency. This team is set up for internal improvements. We’re all expecting some lord and savior free agent to come rescue our team but what if booker takes a Kobe-esque step next season and ayton a D ROB or Shaq step and oubre a pippen-esque step. Suns already have really good young pieces. The goal is to be competitive not sign stop gap free agents. I say resign oubre at all costs as we have his bird rights anyway so we can go over the cap for him. If Tyler Johnson doesn’t want to cooperate stretch him or trade him. But coming from the Heat org I believe Johnson is team oriented and understands we can’t get better unless he opts out.

Pippen?! Did you just compare KO to 1 of the NBAs greatest defensive players ever? He has talent but wow. I would argue he's not even the best on his own team. Bridges has way more potential and won't cost us 15/yr.

Also I would'nt call a Dlo signing stop gap. He's easily the best FA we can hope for while filling a huge need and being Bookers best friend.

Lol. I love how people ignore certain things to help their arguments. There’s a reason I said “esque” at the end of it. Because he’s not quite as good but has similarities.
Letting go of oubre to sign DLo I think is a move that keeps the suns the same.
If your company offers you a 4-5 year extension for about 10 mil a year are you going to risk that for 9 extra mil for 1 year and possible injury that lowers your future earnings? Greed is a sin and karma doesn’t discriminate. It’s tylers right to that 19 mil but if he says I want my money I’m not helping even though the team is willing to compensate him karma will come back to bite him I gurantee it.

Oubre is an RFA. If he signs for a paycut, we will match.

Gambo said they were being shopped...said it's been going on for weeks. Even Jones said they are exploring all possibilities. Rankin just said an NBA source said they were not "up for trade" whatever that means.

It’s brain surgery to get $15M below the cap from where they are, so yeah I’ll go ahead and ‘Gambo’ myself. There is no taking a pay cut for another team when you’re a restricted free agent, by the way.

Gambo will shoot it down shortly.

I have not seen Jrue play much. But I think his basic stats look really good. It would be a big pickup imo, depending on what we give up.

Westbrook, George and Adams make a combined $97 million. Adams is pretty much untrade-able at his salary...he was like the last big payday C. That leaves $12 million in space.

Problem is they are also paying Schroder $15.5 million, Roberson $10 million, Jerami Grant $8.7 million, PPat $5.5 million. Their payroll is $145 million +. They are well into the luxury tax.

So they'd only have a tax mle...which isn't much.

They can't shed nearly enough money.

I would package the #6 pick in a heartbeat if it brings back any decent vet that fills a need. I feel that draft picks are overvalued.

My first thought was probably a S&T, maybe for Schroder

Pippen also averaged over 5 apg for his career and was over 6 per game by his 4th year. Oubre's best average assist per game in a year has been 1.2.

I hope it wasn't unfortunate that we ended up with Oubre because I doubt had we not signed Ariza that we would even be thinking of going after Oubre this summer. I just hope he doesn't end up a bad contract. At least he's working hard so hopefully he takes a big step forward next year.

There's no way they would be trying to sign KO this summer if he wasnt playing for us already. We have too many wings and 2 big holes that are needed to fill as it is.

I still never understood the Ariza signing to begin with and if you're gonna trade him after the fact ship him to philly & maybe take a gamble on Fultz becoming something.

I like Shamwow -

Probably for second round picks. Hopefully
1) they are draft and stash
2) we don’t sell them to the Lakers or Warriors
3) we use them on a player like Jordan Bell or that shooter Guy

Consider me very surprised if Warren is salary dumped. Probably also means we're setting ourselves up for a big DLo or some other big FA offer.

TJ is worth way more than a second rounder imo. I would just keep him. Unless we are freeing up money to sign some really good FA.
