You knew it would be the Kings. Like taking candy from a baby. Popovich/Buford against Vlade and that crew. Once I saw the Spurs wanted a top 3 pick - I knew if there were a sucker, it was the Kings. Dumb teams/owners do dumb things

Sarver - -please be patient and don't do something stupid with the 4th pick that HELPS a team like the Spurs. For gosh sakes, help a team like the - I don't know, but not the Spurs or Lakers or Celtics

So, are you saying trade Chandler to the Kings to play him with Aldridge

Gambo had the Millsap and Aldridge stuff before the national guys so points for him.

I think San Antonio is gearing up for 2018 free agency tying to clear cap. Probably afraid of Aldridge opting-in lol.

You know the Kings do need to get decent somewhat quickly since they owe that pick in 2019 to the Sixers/Celtics. They also have a ton of cap space and there are worse ways for them to use it. If they could get LMA for 10 I don't hate that trade.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

If the Spurs wanted to send Aldridge and Green for Chandler/Knight and maybe a protected future pick - okay, that might be okay

But I am not sure this Suns team with a LaMarcus Aldridge two years older and Green still makes the playoffs. It seems like the Suns would be chasing something wrong. Two years ago, would have loved to have had Aldridge - now, he seems to be slowing down a lot! And if the Spurs want a pick that bad - they want something big time! So, if the Spurs are making a trade, be leery, like trading with Belichick and Red Auerbach - usually they win.

Yes, Gambo did say it - guy is connected. Maybe better around the league than Poenix

You do make a good point about the Kings - they do have the cap space and they need to get better. And if its for the 10. I think its too steep for the 5.

Do they want Chandler or Bledsoe or Knight to go with LMA?

Can the NBA ban the Kings from making any trades for their own benefit?

Nope there isnt going to be a player at 10 that is going to be anything close to Dirk or Westbrook. I can see them trying to get a player like Zack Collins who will be a good stretch 5 in a couple years but DSJ or Lauri would be killed by Pop for being a whimp or not developing.
Just say no to idiots!!

I was just going to say before reading this that I could see Pop liking Markkanen, and then I thought of Collins too. The Spurs always play good D and play the right way, but what they've never really had is a 7 footer who can hit 3's...or just a big in general who could. They might think that they need that to compete with GS. Who would block Markkanen's shot? Obviously he's young and would be nervous. But they also need a PG, so if they liked any of those guys....and they have done well with French PGs in the past.

Okay I have it.

- Trade 2018 Miami pick + #4 to Boston to move up to #3

- Trade #3 + Bledsoe (established player), Chriss (young player with potential) and '21 Heat pick for Porzingis and Lee.

Now if they want to dump Noah too then take out the '21 Heat pick and add Tyson or Knight instead and we'll take back Noah too.

Hope McDonough can get a deal done if this is legit. Porzingis and Booker would be a hell of a duo to build on.

I wouldn't even offer that much. #4, Dragan Bender and the Miami pick next year for Porzingis. If they want to salary dump Noah then they get to take back Knight with them.

So Bledsoe/4 for zingtastic. Why would he specifically say 4 and not 3?

Just highest bid on Porzingis that doesn't include Booker or Chriss.
