No one has even mentioned Canaan as an option. I thought he was our best player at PG last year. Then he broke his leg, Harrison showed up and impressed everyone. I would be Ok with Canaan fighting it out with Harrison for the third spot, while making Knight the starter and Okobo the back up. Making Knight the starter from day one could do a world of good for his confidence while making him part of a young exciting team.

Knight
Okobo
Canaan or Harrison

As long as Ulis is cut I am good with just about anyone

Smart “can shoot”? Since when?

I feel bad for Gambo, all his tweets have been rubbish since the Bridges/DiVincenzo fiasco.

It’s like he’s overcompensating.

LOL, no, he was saying Milo is smart and can shoot. This tweet has nothing to do with Marcus Smart.

Wondering if that is our best option to be honest. I dont like that he has played in 4 playoff games over 9 seasons BUT it looks like he has matured. Super talented guy.

That's probably the least of my worries.

I do think that it is important to bring in some guys with winning experience. At least one vet with some legit playoff experience. I do believe that is good for increased wins next season.

Admission against interest makes the second tweet highly credible. Teodosic is not coming to Phoenix.

It's a consideration but a competent playmaker is what I"m after, with or without playoff experience. If we're a playoff team, it would be more important to me.

Also Chandler has tons of playoff experience and a ring. Did jack all for our development.

How would they make that work capwise? Otto Porter isn't that valuable.

There's an argument to be made that Porter is a much better fit than Cousins. They had a revolving door at SF last year. If they could add Porter to a line-up with Mirotic and Davis I doubt they would hesitate. Their record, defense, and offense all improved significantly when Boogie was hurt and they traded for Mirotic. Part of it is that they are better when AD is playing C, but another part is that Mirotic was really good for them.

OK. First tweet chronologically. Milos looks like he could become available. Gambo thinks it would be a good idea and posts it. He then starts asking the Suns. They say they are not interested and he posts it.

First post. Gambo's opinion about what the Suns should do. His basketball opinions are horrible.
Second post. His info about the Suns interest. His info is usually decent.

I think they will be the team that ends up with Dwight Howard.

Maybe I am reading Kerrsed too much but the idea of Lance at the "4" or the forward signed is gaining traction. Dudley, if in shape can be the "stretch 4"

Lance just adds some snark to the team. He and Beverly would be good. Now if too much for a rookie coach to have Lance - that's one thing. But Bjelica, Ilyasova - I am good with Lance.

Lance and Beverly
Lance and Tyreke Evans

I like both

Chandler was brought in too late in his career and in the middle of a terrible situation. It's a consideration for me as well. Defense and shooting are 1 and 1a. But winning experience is third on my list.

Nope. Would be an offensive disaster and cement us into being the worst shooting team in basketball.

I don't think so. They aren't after a locker room cancer.

At the 5, they don't really need more than someone like McGee who just finishes dunks and grabs the occasional rebound in about 10mpg

I also thought they would pursue Howard, they can deal with dummies like McGee/Nick Young they can deal with Dwight.

Add one non-shooter and we're the worst shooting team in basketball? Were the Celtics the worst shooting team in basketball? :banghead:
