I wouldn't be particularly excited about Lebron coming to PHX, but I would have to look at it. Not just for LBJ himself but for the opportunity to maybe also connect Davis to the group on top of him. I loathe the thought of having to deal with Rich Paul in PHX, but the possibility of having a roster that is age and talent balanced to finally get back to the playoffs would be great.
Do the above deal for Bron, then begrudgingly put Ayton+ on the table for an extended Davis
Booker
Bridges
Warren
LBJ
Davis
Needs more defense still, but that is a solid group. LBJ eventually goes away, but PHX still has Davis, Booker, Warren and a more mature Warren.

I am offering Tyler + Jackson + 2019 pick swap + #32 + Milwaukee 1st. Lebron/Book will be sharing pg duties so we can pull Bridges or Warren into starting lineup.
How could the Lakers turn down that deal?
Book/(Okobo/Melton)
Bridges/Crawford?
Warren/Oubre
Bron/(Warren/Oubre)/filler
Ayton/Holmes
Are they going to do damage in the playoffs? Hard to say. If we make that trade, we need to go all the F in. Book grew this year, if Ayton can take another step up, that's a big 3 that might be able to really play. Shooters are already there for Bron. Idk, sounds fun but more of a 2k thing with trade override on. I don't think the Lakers even think about trading him.

Hmm.... do the Suns want LeBron now?
Not sure if he was joking with that package, but I was....not the type of trade package it would likely take to trade for one of the best players in NBA history. It would be hard to trade that package for nothing. You'd probably need to give up those type of picks to dump those contracts.

I still would not do it. Lebron and Klutch are toxic.

It would never happen anyway if there is any truth to Sarver's ultimatum to Watson to fire Klutch or he be fired himself. They will likely never work together again unless Zion hires Klutch and we get the #1 pick.

Gerald B also tweeted about Warren and the impression he wanted out of the building as fast as possible.
As for Jamal - he was a good influence it seems but he might be looking for a winning team. Granted nobody wanted him last year until Suns called.
I am good with Bower too. At least has experience - Sarver has never hired a GM with experience.

All the agent talk got me looking at who current suns are rep'd by.
Booker Warren and Tyler Johnson are CAA guys. That's the agency rich Paul left and there's some bad blood there. Biggest agency in the nba
Ayton and oubre are bill Duffy clients. Big respected agency that used to rep Nash so good working relationship with the suns.

Do you think Lebron is worth more then #3 in this draft? Maybe he is but I wouldn’t offer the 1 or 2

Not sure I'd read much into this because it seems Warren generally doesn't like talking to the media.

Yes. He's one of the best players in the NBA. He's not going to be traded though unless he asks to be, which is improbable. And it wouldn't be to us if by chance it did happen.

Yeah, I saw that tweet too. Gina has written before he's always been really uncomfortable around the media and giving interviews.

Looks like he's getting a Sr. VP of BB Ops title. I kind of expect Jones to be given a President of Basketball Ops title and Buckstein is the GM. Jones would basically be the public front man for the front office with Bower as his right hand man and Buck would be one of those seen but not heard GM's doing the actual hands on work with player aquisition.Crives wrote:Saberestar wrote:

Yeah, that makes sense...under Jones but Bukstein is GM....works for me. Makes the most sense.
Nice shirt and glasses here for Oubre.

I like Jones especially if he's in a role like this where he's both dealing with the media and also the lead guy bridging the players to the front office. Both of those things suite him well.

Good bad or indifferent about Bower - he has more experience going into the job than anybody Sarver has hired. He will have a knowledge that comes from experience for Buk and Jones to learn from. And like you said, Jones strength is being the spokesperson for the team and building that bond with the players.
Bower and Bukstein can be behind the scenes working on building the roster.
