What happened to Brandon Clarke? Has only played in one game so far in the playoffs and was only for 7 minutes.

He's probably slightly overrated by this board is what happened.

Yup, same as Melton, who was also on his way to stardom once he left Phx.

Kind of a weird matchup against Gobert, but they say in an indirect way, the play of Xavier Tillman has really eaten into his minutes. He also kind of had a sophomore slump, including a slight drop in FG% and big drop in 3pt% from 36% to about 27%
But he's a solid defender but the main thing is they got JJJ back after being out all season as well as Kyle Anderson finally balling after slowly developing in the league and Justise Winslow back who is kind of in the same boat. These guys are a lot more experienced.
They still have great depth at the forward spots and at guard now with Melton, Tyus Jones and Bane.
They should really continue to improve. They are a good 10 guys deep.

I don't know...Zach Lowe (I think) had him on his list of most underrated.

Been thinking it might be good if this series ends up going 6 or 7 just for the rest (though the Atl series still going so maybe no need).
I wonder how Philly without Embiid would do against Atlanta.

You'd think Philly would be mostly fine until the Nets/Bucks match up, but whoever wins that one is probably going to the Finals now. Hoping the Bucks are able to get the win against the Nets.

Same here. I love Nash & Dantoni but I cannot root for a super team especially Irwing and Durant plus I cant stand DeAndre and griffin bunch of unlikable azzwipes.

For those who haven't heard (or aren't familiar with Rick Bonnell).
I still follow the Hornets being my local team and always got news about them from him. He'd respond on twitter sometimes too. Nice guy and excellent writer. Sad to hear this happen, and so suddenly.. Major loss.

Re: Around the NBA - Other Playoff Series
I thought the Mavs were done, mentally. After taking 2 in LA and having all the momentum behind them, they then lost two in a row at home. After cutting into a healthy (although no insurmountable) deficit late in the 4th, I thought the Clippers would have all the momentum but they just couldn't pull through.
I wonder if this is the first time in the playoffs teams have won all of their road games and lost all of their home games lol let's see if the Clippers can take another on the road.

Luka is a killer, gotta give him respect. I love to see the punk Clippers ("the next 5 years are ours") get punked themselves.
Dallas's future doesn't look great though, they don't have the pieces around him. It reminds me of 2007 cavs where Lebron was literally dragging corpses out there.
A pipe dream but how sick would it be if Luka eventually signed here?
Luka
Booker
Bridges
3D Power Forward
Ayton
Cam Payne?

I heard on the postgame last night that's the first time through 5 games that the road team won since HOU/SA WCF in 1995. Houston won and had to be the lower seed so I don't know if they won in game 6 to win in 6 or take at home.
I do remember in 94 where I thought Houston was better, that we won the first two games in Houston, including a 20 pt 4th qtr comeback in one of the games, and then they took the next two in Phx and home teams won the rest for them to take the series.
Then in 95 with a 3-1 lead, they took the last 3 games, including 2 in Phx, and game 5 where we could have taken in 5, they won in OT.
Those HOU series were probably the most brutal playoff losses for me, particularly the 95 one. Actually 95 is the worst with the Elie 3 at the end, followed by losing the Spurs series in 07, followed by the 94 HOU series, though I expected to lose that one...so maybe 2010 Lakers is a little higher on the list than that too.

Dude played good on a crappy team, then when they got good they sat him. Guy will be a bench role player for his career.
Ya'll thought he was the next Lebron James on this board lol

The Porzingis situation is the million dollar question for Dallas. They made a big bet on him from the assets they used to acquire him and contract they gave him. So far he hasn't lived up to expectations and to further complicate things it doesn't seem like him and Luka like each other.
Maybe they can find a trade partner this off-season but if they do it's probably for another distressed asset. Porzingis for Kemba or something like that.

That seems like it would be a pretty good trade for both teams.

Re: Around the NBA - Other Playoff Series
Speaking of Dallas Tim Hardway Jr is another interesting decision for them this summer. He's been sneaky good for them and with this FA being pretty weak he'll get some decent offers this summer. Dallas probably wants him back but in doing so they eat most of their possible cap space this summer and the next couple years. Going to be an interesting summer in Dallas.
