Bulls said they're not trading Deng(but they will probably shop him close to the deadline); Noah will be much harder to acquire. He's still young enough to be a foundational piece for them, even at 28.

And why wouldn't he extend in PHX. Great supporting cast, room to give him a max deal and continue to add players, and great weather. Better chance to win here than in LA for the foreseeable future. We don't even have to gut the roster.

It's not allowed under the new CBA. If traded here we'd have to sign him as a UFA in '15, but we'd have his bird rights at least to give him whatever he wants. Scuttlebutt is that he winds up in L.A., but lets not act like he grew up there, he went to UCLA but he grew up in the Seattle area.
