No, they will keep Griffin...he is there cornerstone...Paul used to be injury prone and I wonder if that will happen again, and he is obviously getting up there in age, so he may end up another guy that could never get there. I think he will start regressing soon.

They are looking to add Josh Smith. CP3 will have fun with that
I feel they will go small and use Blake as 5 if they do get Smith, and they can keep him off the long 2 pointers somehow.

CP3 on top of being a 2nd rd playoff choker every time in his career also managed to piss of their franchise center, wow congrats to him.

NEW ORLEANS - Star forward for the New Orleans Pelicans Anthony Davis comes out with his homosexuality after signing a 5-year $125 million contract extension with his current team.
The Pelicans #23 Anthony Davis has been highly regarded as one of the elite forwards of the NBA. He made an impact in the 2014-15 season which garnered him and the city of New Orleans much media attention for his style of play on the basketball court.
"I'm gay," Anthony Davis told the media at the Pelicans presser today. "I've been gay since high school."
The LGBT community congratulated Anthony Davis on his decision to come out publicly. "We are very proud of him and Jason Collins. They are very strong men and great representatives of our community," said one gay Pelicans fan on Twitter.
Anthony Davis told that media, "I hope my sexuality does not affect anyone's view of me [especially] the fans. New Orleans -- five more years!"
Anthony Davis averaged 24.4 PPG, 10.2 RPG, 2.9 BLKPG on 30.89 PER. He was one of the front runners for the NBA MVP race behind Stephen Curry, LeBron James and James Harden.

I dunno. It seemed like he genuinely enjoyed that butt spanking he received as a part of that freshman hazing ritual at Kentucky.

Re: Around the NBA
This is interesting...Bird says Turner is probably the best shooter on the team.
http://www.indystar.com/story/sports/columnists/gregg-doyel/2015/09/29/doyel-pacers-rookie-myles-turner-better-than-we-think/72989202/
Indiana's a bit like us. I don't even know if many are predicting or expecting they make the playoffs, but they have a pretty interesting team. They are fairly solid across the board....and of course...Paul George.
"… and he's probably the best shooter on the team," Bird was saying Monday afternoon.
Excuse me. What?
"He's a dead-eye shooter," Bird said.
Hold the coffee. Awake now, I'm asking Bird to clarify what he just said about Myles Turner. Because what he said sounded a lot like this:
Myles Turner shoots better than C.J. Miles. Better than George Hill. Better than Monta Ellis and Rodney Stuckey and Chase Budinger and anyone else — everyone else — on the roster.
Is that what you said, Larry? That's what I'm asking. Are you saying he shoots from his range better than anyone else shoots from their range? Or are you saying he shoots better, period and with no qualifiers, than anyone on this roster?
This is what Bird told me in response:
"He's better than a lot of our 3-point shooters," Bird said. "Put it this way: I think he's our best shooter, but (I know) he's as good as anyone we've got. And he's 7 foot. He's excellent."
"(Turner) has that LaMarcus Aldridge-type game, where he can step out to the perimeter and make jumpers," George was saying. "That's what makes LaMarcus so special. (Turner) has that kind of game."
Turner has heard that for awhile. When he was at Texas last season, Longhorns coach Rick Barnes would cue up video of Aldridge. That's who you play like, Barnes told him. That's who you can be.
Here's some background: Aldridge is 6-11, 240. Last season at Texas, Turner was 6-11, 238 — though he says he has added muscle and is weighing closer to 250 pounds now.
Aldridge played two seasons at Texas, Turner just one, but their freshman numbers are almost identical:
Aldridge in 2004-05: 9.9 points, 5.9 rebounds in 22.2 minutes.
Turner in 2014-15: 10.1 points, 6.5 rebounds in 22.2 minutes.

Re: Around the NBA
Did you guys see that 38 year old Kobe who hasn't played much in two years will have limited options if he becomes a FA next year? That's some breaking news.

Yeah, I also wasn't aware that he doesn't have many allies throughout the league. He's generally a pretty likeable guy and player.

Re: Around the NBA
Holy smokes. I knew the C's roster was loaded but didn't really look closely at it.
Lee, Zeller, Jerebko, Olynyk, Sullinger, Amir Johnson, Perry Jones.
They all can play big and they all need minutes. That is ridic. At least 2 of them have to be gone before the deadline.

They have a bunch of guards too. I was looking at Evan Turners stats last year and he was solid....was thinking about him for fantasy...probably shouldn't mention it but Boston's rotation is so up in the air it is tough to peg stats.

Man, Ben Gordon can't find work? He fell off young(ish). I guess injuries likely played a role
