If the Mavs do decide to tank.. They should target Gerald Green/Michael Beasley/JaVele McGee
Imagine that LMAO!

They don't have to tank, they will just be bad in a tough conference.

oh yeah this would be absolutely devastating if it was us, but luckily it wasn't us so we get to enjoy the show

Mavs shouldn't tank so hard though, Boston gets their pick if it's Top 7, IIRC.

Other way around. Mavs keep it if it's top 7.

Signing Weems says bye bye Tuck to me.....

Tucker for Carl Landry is OK in my book.

Keif goes on ego probation and takes a step down in the alpha male doghouse.

Ray Ray - totally agree. And this really jacks the Mavs as free agency is basically done and now they are left with Kevin Seraphin. Even a guy like Kosta Koufos would have been a good alternative (also would have made the perfect three way sign and trade with the Grizzlies: Koufos to Dallas, Brandon to Memphis and Tyson to Phoenix)

Ray Ray - hearing any rumblings lately. I know you had the Joe Johnson name. But Amick had Brendan Haywood as a name to the Suns - hearing anything as that would have to be to flip his contract for a player.

Honestly, it's been quiet besides the two Suns signings this morning. I heard about the Sonny Weems signing but I really thought my source was pulling my leg.. Not gonna lie, felt pretty stupid about it after the fact..I did say that the Suns where looking at a true Shooting guard a couple of days ago. Just didn't know it was Weems.

I asked about the JJohnson and he said he hasn't heard anything beside what he mentioned to me a couple of days ago..

They would love to get a PF next to Chandler. someone like a TGibson (Bulls) via a trade, but it lookes like the Bulls are asking for a lot.

I asked if TChandler would back out of the Suns contract and he said he hasn't heard that... But cannot be 100% sure about that..

Lets not get careless. Might accidentally poke someone's eye out.

ESPN sources say Mavs owner Mark Cuban has begun to notify people within the organization that DeAndre Jordan is staying with Clippers

This is so bad for the league. Huge ramifications. Completely screws over the Mavericks organization dramatically. Impacts not only their team, but their sponsors, fans, and plan for the future as well. And to see Blake Griffin tweet a photo making a joke of the whole situation about not letting anyone into the house is embarrassing. The Clippers organization top to bottom is showing their true colors. What a disgrace. I hope all the owners come together to make sure the Clippers get punished somehow. This is not right. Just imagine if Aldridge agreed to sign with the Suns and then him and the Spurs pulled something like this. It would be far worse than him not agreeing in the first place. I have never seen anything like this happen.

I don't disagree with most of what you said, but the whole reason they have the moratorium is for cases just like this. Supposed to happen before giving intent, but it is meant to be a period of reflection, decision-making and zen. :-D

It's actually meant for the NBA and NBPA to have time to audit the books and come up with the cap number, which is necessary before signing deals because teams haveto know if they are over or under the cap to apply various rules, how much space they have, etc..

It also is a bonus that players have time to think about offers, but even then, it's never been about providing a week for players to reconsider an already agreed to contract.

I've never been one to wish injury on a player, but if I was a Mavs fan...

Classless Mav fans take after their crybaby owner. Let the saltiness flow through you.

July 8 2010-The Decision

July 8 2015-The Indecision

Mavs got ****, no lube. Jordan looks like he has the mentality of a 5 year old, his agent looks incompetent and the Clippers look shady.

Definitely this. The reaction to the Decision is still one of the more ridiculous things I can remember.
