What a whiny little bitch. MoBros need to grow up (if true).

@BurnsAndGambo: According to @Gambo987's sources, Markieff wants out. He wants nothing to do with the #Suns. Won't talk to players or staff. #NBA
And he won't talk to the other players. So unprofessional. Where's Gambos limo service. Get him out of here.
Hopefully McDonough have worked in the shadows already and he has a trade in place.
At the end of the day I don't care about Markieff Morris. Decent player but he is not a big time player by any means, so he can be replaced easily. He is a headcase, like his brother, and we will have a better team chemistry without them next year.

If anyone was on markeiff's side this should now be the proving point that markeiff is a lost cause and a head case this organization doesn't need. This guy simply just needs to get his piss poor attitude and immaturity as far away from this organization and especially city as possible!
I am such a lucky NBA fan. 8647 My favorite team went from the most greedy and racist owner to the most ego driven dumbass owner in all of sports fdt.

Re: Suns Offseason Thread 4: Where's Terrence Williams?
Pretty short sighted by Markieff if that's true. I honestly can't think of a better basketball situation for him than right here. He'll get more touches than anywhere else, and he'll always have rim protectors and rebounders nearby.
Then again, Gambo is wrong more often than right these days when it comes to the Suns, exception being the draft when they actually let him in to the facilities. I believe that he's probably right, but I hesitate to fully accept it at face value given his exceptionally weak track record and I'd probably need to see something else to actually confirm it.
Even if this is true though (and it almost certainly is), it still might be worth it to wait for training camp at the very least. In theory, he doesn't have to talk to anyone during the offseason. If we move him, it's selling low AND negotiating from a position of weakness which is such an awful position to be in. If we do end up being forced to move him for less than market value, that's another massive blight on McDonough's record. He will have consistently manufactured losing situations based entirely on his own doing.
Worth noting that if we get a poor return on Markieff, the Chandler signing becomes a pretty hefty brick. You can say what you want about him "transforming the culture" or whatever, but you don't pay 13 milli for that, you pay 13 mil to win games. Chandler covers Markieff's weaknesses and has some synergy with what he does on offense to boot. Losing Keef but adding Chandler gives us just enough talent to lock us in to the 13th pick, while further compromising the PT of the young guys with a "playoff chase". Thrilling.

I can't wait til Ginobliflops gets a hold of this breakthrough and continues to complain about this board's unfair character assassination of the Morii and the naive true beliver KeepKieffer apologists will continue to insist that they are not in deed Siamese twins attached at the hip and squarely blame CusMo for poisoning the water. I swear he must be personally invested in them as their PR man. Wouldn't be surprised if he turned out to be theirlong lost triplet separated at birth. Well it is time for us to cut our losses and move on from this debacle. Now McDuh and Co will be charged with damage control/ janitor duty and will try their best to mop up this mess while still salvaging something of worth from the situation. Although Queef is locked in longterm on a team friendly contract and doesn't seem to have leverage to force his hand I think his toxicity is enough reason to get the boot outta town.

Phoenix Suns forward Markieff Morris will become very difficult for the team to handle if he is not traded, reports Arizona Sports 98.7 FM’s John Gambadoro.
Morris has not spoken to either the organization or his teammates since the season ended. According to Gambadoro, he no longer wants anything to do with the Suns and will attempt to force their hand.

I am still in the camp of making him sit home during the season until he gets it together, or at least until we find a good deal

The only reason I even came here right now is to read ginobiliflops reaction to this.
I know he is an adopted Morris brother so I wonder how he feels about this now. I think someone once said he has a Morris twins tattoo as well and if that's true, then it's understandable why he's so upset about them getting traded but I don't think he actually has one.
Just a weird fetish with the Morris bros I think. I hope it ends today.

The morris brothers are such scum. Their mother must be ashamed. But I doubt it. I wish them nothing but the worst for their careers and personal lives. I don't care anymore

There should be a solid market for him, he is a good fit in many teams, Detroit, Houston, Indiana, Orlando, Sacramento, Toronto, Washington are teams that make sense.

Markieff is wildly inconsistent and will never be a starter on a good team. He's underachieved since college.
With that said, does this front office ever get an ounce of blame for repeatedly watching players' trade values bottom out before they actually trade them?

I'll wait for a more credible source, but to play along, if he doesn't report to camp, can we void his contract?

I think he is untouchable, but Aaron Gordon would be an amazing adquisition for Markieff.
Motiejunas is a decent option if we can not make a better trade.

At best I can see Toronto offering Patterson/Ross or some other playoff team offering a protected late first. I would love to pry away DMo from Morey though.

I bang that drum a lot. Didn't sell high on Goran (got a good return, both objectively AND given the circumstances, but they still put themselves into a position of weakness and probably couldn't get maximum value). Didn't move Green while his value was high, then his value gutterballed and they couldn't move him without taking on trash. Panic moved IT, when it could have been possible to wait him out a little and get more.
The Suns have ALL the leverage in this situation and they SHOULD play hardball with Markieff. If they don't, then that's a huge, huge black mark on them. It will be yet another situation that they themselves created, where they had to negotiate from a position of weakness. It happens to every GM over their career, can't be too mad about that - sometimes, you take a risk that just doesn't pay off. When it becomes a pattern though, that's just terrible.

Examples? Do you think we could have received more for Goran? Or do you think he could have easily just walked, and we get nothing? It's tough to gauge when a player will bottom out.
Who else did we lose out on? Scola? Dudley? Plumlee? IT? Toliver? Ennis? Gortat?
