That's my fear.

If we see them take Jackson tomorrow right before us I think it portends poorly for our chances of landing KP.

Nope. McD will finish up the deal tonight :D

Knicks are in the East Coast and Phil is 70 years old...he's likely in bed by now :(

Are the Knicks okay with trading a potential star player away within their same division? That could turn out to be awful.

For example, i don't think the Suns would've ever considered trading Dragic or IT within the division.

In terms of assets the Celtics have all over Phoenix pretty much. A lot more picks to offer. The only hope is that Phil will be reluctant to trade to a rival team in the same division, also Phoenix has the ability to take on Noah's deal if necessary as well.

Not surprising at all that Bledsoe trade rumors just started...hopefully suns trying to make Phil nervous if bled is established player he's looking for. Do deal now Phil or lose Bledsoe!!

IDK, we have the capspace to take on Noah, someone they really wont be able to dump on another team. The Knicks would also be sending him out of their conference AND division.

And who knows if Jackson is really Phils guy. I also like our young players and assets a hell of a lot more than what Boston is offering up. Seriously, who is their best young players? Smart? Brown? I dont even see Celtic fans offering them, i see names like Bradley and Crowder and Rozier being thrown around. Bledsoe/Warren/Chriss/Bender are all more valuable in my eyes.

if Bledsoe gets traded we gotta brace ourselves for Brandon Knight, Starting Point Guard

you know it'll happen for at least the first few games

We're in a unique position compared to everyone that wants KP: We have the cap space and are willing to take on Noah's horrible contract. Boston has all the assets in the world, but they can't waste cap space after making the ECF last year, and the Knicks have to clear out terrible contracts if they want any flexibility in the future. Offer something along the lines of #4 + Bledsoe + TJ for KP + Noah with room to negotiate. They get JJ, a really good PG in Bledsoe, and a versatile forward in TJ all while losing Noah's mistake of a contract; we add a young star in Porzingis that fits our team like a glove.

This is the correct answer. Ulis impressed the hell out of me last season. Maybe not a long term solution but seems to have all the makings of a consummate floor general that can get everyone on the same page. Plus his BFFness with Booker certainly doesn't hurt matters either.

He'd also have a lot of room to operate out on the court with Porzingis and Booker out there with him.

That is a good point about the room to take Noah. I refuse to get my hopes up on Porzingis but damn do I want this to go down.

I'd give Knight a month or two to try to regain some of his Bucks mojo. If he even just plays decently he'll restore some trade value. If he plays great you have a starting point guard for a couple years. Most of the time on the Suns he's played out of position as an undersized 2 guard.

The only reason to play Knight IMO is to hope he wakes up and showcases enough to get some halfway decent return in a trade. Even with Milwaukee he was a chucker and a ball stopper on offense that killed any flow that they had going.

holy oh my goodness this is ridiculous.

I check this board as i'm getting off work: No truth to the Porzingis rumors.

I check my phone at the gym: Phil says they are looking to trade into top 4

I get home: We've apparently talked to the knicks about it and there is a CHANCE we might.

oh my god please

I have to admit, I remember the summer i thought we were getting LeBron and how excited I was. I'm starting to get that excited again. McD...if you can hear me...please get this done. please
