But Miami isn't far behind.

Too much? Even if it is too much I really want Ayton + Doncic(or JJJr)

If I’m Memphis i tell the Suns:
2019 PHX unprotected
2020 pick swap option
2021 PHX unprotected
2021 MIA unprotected
Then we can talk about players...

Modify it:
Chriss, Buck pick, lesser of 2021 Miami/Phoenix pick to Memphis
Kevin Love to Memphis
#16 to Clevland (+ dead weight salary filler)
Parsons and #4 to us.
We keep TJ and get some protection on that Miami pick. Fair for us taking on that awful contract.
Memphis still unloads that deal, gets Kevin Love, gets a future pick and moves down to #16. But they also get Chriss who is still full of potential (but may not have the right attitude).

I ain't interested in talking players with the Grizzlies, unless they're talking about Conley. Parsons truly is a deal breaker for me, and TJ's pretty close to that for me as well. (Don't people want to make the playoffs next season?)

I'd happily take just Kuzma if that offer came up. I think they'd rather just stretch Deng than lose a prized prospect.

I am still trying to figure out why the Suns would want Deng. He would take all their cap space up. So that would mean - unless somebody took Chandler and Dudley, over 40m of the cap would be totally wasted. If you add in the unknown of Knight, that 55m dollars Maybe for Ingram and Kuzma - but not picks - do not need more picks. I am okay with not going forward with making moves just to make moves - on multiple year deals - meaning don't redo 2010 with Hakim, Josh and Hedo. But Deng would be going sideways or to me, backwards. He has two years left on his deal.
The only way I do this deal is if a three team deal
Team X gets Deng , the Suns pick either 16 this year or a future non lottery first rounder and the pick from the Lakers
Lakers get cap space
Suns get Kuzma: I would give up a first round pick for Kuzma -
Its should serve as a cautionary reminder to the suns that some win now vet leadership deals can go tragically wrong. Tread lightly McD.DarkHawk wrote:BobbieL wrote:DarkHawk wrote:

It really is mind blowing that he will be making over 17mil each of the next 2 years. LA brass was a disaster that summer.
