That would ruin them. With the acquisition of Davis to shore up interior defense, they need 3 point shooting more than anything.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhh. I'm secretly hoping the Lakers get older players...

Gambo was saying he got a call “”....that “PatBev” might be going to the Lakers. So yes I just got a call from a player that thinks “PatBev” is going to the Lakers. So if “PatBev” goes to the Lakers one less PG for the Suns....”
I think Gambo must think if he says it three or four times - it’s more legit.

As for Horford - I hope it’s the Lakers but my guess Brooklyn if he still likes Kyrie or the Knickerbockers.

As for Warren and Jackson - remain to be seen what the compensation will be. Might have to truly wait into June 30.

God damn. I thought I quit this board after being scarce during the season and gone after they fired Igor but here I am refreshing every 30 minutes.

BTW, Horford is older than Chandler was when he signed with the Suns.

Jones also said TJ Warren and Josh Jackson are in good standing with the Suns amid reports they’re on the trading block. NBA sources have told The Republic the Suns aren’t looking to trade the two players.

“I don’t respond to rumors,” Jones said. “If it was my comment, I’d respond to it. Like anything around this time of the year, everyone wants to create a story. There’s no stories here.”

James Jones obviously is denying trade rumors, we will see.

Maybe Jones is looking to move away from 'bad eggs' on the team. Jackson being a no-brainer and Warren with whatever his issue was that kept preventing him from playing.

I wonder if that rumor about "2 players and the 6th pick for Holiday" has any truth. Can't imagine they'd take that for him but who knows.
I think he was legit hurt but I also think he might want out and that's part of why he's being moved.

I think he did not care for Igor and the system.

Well the system did involve passing so you could be right :) I got jokes

In reality I could understand if TJ soured on the Suns. They have basically drafted his replacement two years in a row then traded for Oubre. The local media doesn't seem to like him because he doesn't really talk to them. They started Ryan f-ing Anderson's corpse over him early last season. Then there's the mystery head injury that I guess might have been the trainers fault according to some rumors. Then the ankle last year where him and the team were calling it different things and it appeared they might not have been on the same page. Add that all up and I wouldn't blame the dude if he wanted a fresh start. Now I have no idea if he actually wants out but if he did I'd guess he would ask them in private and not do it in the media. And if he had done that we've seen that Jones is quick to move guys who don't want to be here.

Yeah seems like a pretty fair deal for both sides. The great PG shuffle of 2019 is in full swing.

Seems Ashley was wrong about this one. Jazz kept Exum too, a bit surprised.

Might’ve been worth looking at Conley if that’s all it took, although it depends a lot on how protected the pick is. Going to be interesting to see how the rest of the point guard dominos fall.

I think Suns are debating on 6th pick, Johnson, Jackson for Jrue. We are waiting for more clarification on the Nets situation, thinking we might have a shot at DLo if he gets renounced.

My best guess at what our front office is considering. I think the Pelicans understand it’ll take Zion a few years and by the time he’s ready for the next step Jrue will be well over 30. I’m sure they would happily accept our package.

Interesting protections. Grizz position to likely get the pick in 2022 which could be the first year of high schoolers. Also would be the season after conleys deal is up.

That makes sense. But Jrue will also be older for the Suns. Granted, the Suns need to start WINNING.

What about this trade. Hawks trade up to 6 with the Suns. Suns get Clarke at 8 or 10 - --
Hawks than trade to the KNicks the 6 and 10 for #3

(granted if Clarke gets drafted at 10 -- Knicks can get 6 and 8)

Big upgrade over Rubio. Also not sure why we are hearing Rubio's name when its been stated we want some that can also play off the ball which Rubio has zero value at, also been stated we want someone that can score at all 3 levels and Rubio can only score at one. Makes zero sense why he would be a fit on this team.

Good for Utah. Go kick the Lakers butt.
