My man Frank punching waaaay above his weight! :D Good for him, hope it works out

(Then again, after googling his contracts and finding out he is about 25 mill, I'm not that surprised about it. Plus he looks like a good dude overall, so looks ain't everything.)

Frank is probably a very good dude

If we're signing someone to that last spot on the roster, give it to someone who punches above their weight

SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

As an Ayton hater I hope neither paul nor harden gets traded here. But for funsies could you imagine the hate we would have to endure for the next 4 years? juicy.

It would e a championship and I'm sure we win everyone would be happy here, but it would forever ha e an asterisk by it. It would always be discussed in a different light.

An asterisk would imply that the winning team had some type of special or unfair advantage.

With that said, winning this group wouldn't be as satisfying as winning it the '21 group, for sure

This team has zero championships, I am not gonna complain 1 bit about how it acquires its first one. It's gonna be satisfying no matter who is on the roster.

Asterisks on championships is lame. Every title could have an asterisk if you think hard enough

Completely random but I’m in Vegas for the summer league games. I’m watching my dad play blackjack at the Linq casino and some guy comes up to me and see that I’m wearing a Suns jersey and says GO SUNS!

I look and it’s Pat Burke. I said “aren’t you Pat Burke?!” He said, “I’m surprised you knew who I was. I know you’re a true fan. By the way, the Suns are winning it all next year.”

He says he’s in Vegas checking out some Summer League games and that the NBA gets retired players together in Vegas to see how everyone is doing. I thought that was pretty cool.

Nice guy, made my night. Loved watching him play. I remember when he used to check in and the home crowd would go wild. Great times!

Yep, but in that other thread. He's apparently #10 now in the Suns players ranking. :D

We just repeat what Booker, Durant, Paul and Monty said to him during timeouts

No wonder he's become disgruntled if they told him he's #10.

So I guess the Suns aren't trading for Paul George or James Harden after all :)

well who knows

Ayton can be traded without his approval Saturday - seems like if something happens - it will happen this week end

I mean theres no point to trade him now that we filled out our bench...

Wait and see if he buys in and plays hard or not... can always trade him later.

I don’t think that’s necessarily true. If Ayton plays poorly enough so we feel we need to trade him, what team will bite? If he can’t be motivated and try hard with three all stars (2 HOFers) and a coach who gasses him up, then what situation will he excel in?

And if he’s playing well, we won’t trade him.

Ayton’s value to us as a trade asset is highest before the season starts.
