Now is the time that the members of the Chinese League have to figure out who the Commissioner is. They are pretty much responsible for creating the league on Yahoo, entering in the draft picks on Yahoo (and here), and all around make sure the draft goes smooth and fluid. It takes a bit of extra effort, but not much extra time. When the Fantasy season starts and the draft has happened, you pretty much have zero responsibilities from that point on.

I think Alvin Adams nominated himself. I feel like it should be a requirement for us all to have some kind of Asian hybrid name in our league. For instance taiyo butt. (Sunsbum) or taiyo transients. OK even if no one bites I think I just found my team name.

Correct! Now we're down to one more, and as soon as everyone is in I'll randomize the draft order - and post screenshots so everyone knows I'm not full of it! Based on how I seem to be doing in draft orders lately I'll probably get stuck mid-round somewhere anyway...

I don't mind doing it but if someone else wants to then that's gravy.

I second yer motion to require Chinese-themed team names. I'm taking Stephon Starbury's Stonegobblers.

i think i speak for all fantasy bball players when I say: thank you bball gods that the era of feeling compelled to draft Chris Paul with the third pick is over.

twice I've had the third pick in the last few years and both times i felt compelled to take chris paul and i hated it: 1) depending on the categories/rules, it really dampens yer creativity in building a team, 2) he gets hurt, and 3) he's **** annoying to watch and root for.

kudos to you if you didn't take chris paul with the third pick in the past. I always drafted him and spent the rest of the season trying to trade him. but now it's over. THE DAVIS ERA HAS BEGUN.

Surely it has to be post World Cup? Even post all signings.....we could call it the Bledsoe rule? However, I am no longer in the Premier League so do as you wish. :evil:

Yeah the Premier League Draft will definitely be sometime in October. That gives us about a month to develop a draft strategy, research players, and see what the finalized team rosters are.

Just giving you a heads up Kerrsed, I'll be touring the US from 3rd to 25th October. Will be wifi reliant while there. So might need a little leniency when coming to picks.

Had the third pick last year and took Harden.

Had the third pick 3 years ago and took Rose.

Still in the Premier League.
