Fantasy Basketball Discussion thread

if anyone is interested in some fantasy football hit up bwgood asap!!!!! we need to get this draft going.

Also, I usually like to do my drafts the week before the season, so this year I would probably do them the first week in September, but if you want to try and do it sooner, one way to get people ready is to let all the other owners know to make sure to set up an espn account if they don't have one. If you want, PM the people on the list to make sure so we can start it when we feel like it without waiting for people to read the board and follow instructions, etc. I don't mind doing it soon, but it would be nice to have 2-4 more people.

Regular. Just tried an auction mock, did not like it.

Auction's great fun. I love throwing a player out there I don't overly want and driving the price up haha

Back fired for me in MLB though - ended up paying like $40 for Billy Hamilton...

So it looks like we are set for 8 in the football league, so I will set up a league with two qbs, 3 rbs, 4 wrs and one flex, so start thinking about your drafting strategy but the big question is when is everyone available for a draft on the espn site? I am pretty open, but it would probably need to be between 6 and 9 pm Phx time as a start time.

I'm in the eastern time zone, so whatever works for you guys should work for me. I don't mind staying up late to draft at all.

Granted we wont be drafting for another month or so, but its good to get the order early so we can work out strategies.

Premier is, but I don't know if everyone from last year is participating other than the ones who quit. Right now it appears we have 46 or 47 players. So with 13 in Premier and D, that is 26, so in the other two there would be 10 in both or 11 and 10.

Right now, we would have the 6 or 7 new players plus the last 3 or 4 in the China league last year be in the China league and then the top 8 or 9, and the D league relegations to the euroleague. Something like that. If someone wants to figure it out, feel free to do so.

13 team premier league is fine. I think most of us would like to get the draft order done, even though no picks will be made until another month or so.

as far as my availability for draft day goes,i usually get thursday off from both my jobs. but let me know what day you guys want to do the draft and ill request the day off or try to get someone to cover my shift.

Hmmm...most everyone else has talked about night. Does a weekend NOT work for anyone? I definitely don't even think I can do it during the week before 4 Phx time....or it would be tough...but I doubt that would work for everyone.

This weekend is fine for me. The following two Sundays 30th and 6th) I'm busy from noon until around 4.

If we can't find a time that works for everyone I'm cool doing it in a thread on here like we did with basketball.

Would be nice to get two more teams and up to a 10 team league.

I'm pretty sure it is set now that I've set it up. But I will see if I can change it IF we get someone else, or if someone drops out, I will add you to the current one.
