Going from Steve Nash to debating whether Brandon Knight is any good.

Hopefully this reminds us what we should be aiming for.

Hornacek has often said that with young players the system breaks down sometimes and results in iso's which are not preferable, and then you have some uneducated fans say he runs an iso offense. Some of the more knowledgeable posters haven't posted as much lately, so the viewpoint is a bit skewed for someone reading posts.

A bit strong accusations that the people that dont agree with you are uneducated.

We all watch games, listen to interviews and can analyze game tapes. Hornacek says the things that we notice... Hence its confusing since he mentions the same issues us fans sees.

But then you see the players do the same thing again the next games and the same issues repeat themselves.

And hence why some of the fans question Hornacek's discipline skills.

And about the ISO.... Name a poster who said Hornacek is pushing the ISO play.

Because almost everyone says it was only Markieff and Marcus Morris who are ball stoppers and tend to isolate.

You have to be more neutral I think when it comes to the frustrated pessimistic fans and the highly optmistic fans... Its the nature of the beast.

totally boring. this is all I could think about. we're slow and do nothing special.

Didn't you become a fan after the Nash years? This is probably the most exciting they have played since 13-14...what made you a fan of this team?

13-14 we had some wow factor. GGreen, Gogi, a hearty PJ.

I became a Suns fan because of Goran. I loved his story, loved the way he played.

Night and day between then and now. This team is lethargic. We have no-one with the wow factor (although I think TJ has some). We go up the court every possession and you expect to see the same thing. No pretty passes, no inspired defense. It's all just a bit dull.

It's like we're the Grindhouse without the grind.

THX STEEEEEVE!

Why aren't they showing it on LeaguePass? They showed some lame dupstep dancers for the Bucks game. I want my free trial money back.

Not sure but not every Suns fan lives in AZ they could of at least noticed that and showed the ring of honor for everyone to see whose watching the game on not just FSNAZ but LP as well.

really annoyed me that they did that. Missed the beginning of it trying to find a stream on my laptop since LP still had the "game break" screen up

55 points at halftime is an above average score. The starting offense has looked good tonight, even with Kieff looking lethargic. If he can become engaged and start hitting his shot we will be in the hunt.

Don't panic people.

I have to disagree. The amount of calling for Hornacek's head, claiming he relied on "hero ball" with IT, Dragic and Bledsoe last season and he's looking to continue that trend with Bled and Knight this season definitely means people think Horny is telling our guys to just run ISOs.

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

I got it on International League Pass although the sound was terrible. Could hardly hear what they said.

Normally I'd agree but the offense looks exactly to me as it did last season. It's looked like this since hornaceck took over. I'm all for read-and-react. We don't have to call plays all the time. But we need ball movement and screens and good shot selection. And we can't expect to run all the time. When there are a lot of fouls we need to be able to score in half court.

Yes it was one game. But I think a season opening home game should never be a blowout like this, with any nba level players. Even if the worst team in the league. this was much more than a loss. It was more than a blowout. They clowned us, at home, season opener

Gerald Green with a minus 18 tonight on 1-9 shooting. It's amazing how players that leave here play worse.
