That end of the half play is Bledsoe and Knight in a nutshell. Bledsoe dribbles and dribbles, creates nothing, then passes to Knight who dribbles to three feet behind the three point line and shoots an air ball. Then the Jazz get the rebound, run down the court and score easily on a floater at the buzzer. What more do you need to know about the Suns guards. Pathetic.

12 Suns players have played already. Jeff Hornacek is on drugs.

If we can get the good Kieff back, Tyson just needs to grab him and shake him and yell "Get over it". It makes me think of this seen...starting at 20 second mark...

Of course they got blown out, but if we want them to gel we gotta get em playing together sometime, and it may take some time before they find that chemistry. Doesn't make me question Hornacek at all, and I don't think he's doing it because his job is on the line. There might be something behind the scenes that caused him to make the roster adjustment.

No. I expected it. That's the point. Hornacek, coaching for his job in a must win game, apparently didn't. That is exactly the problem. To me it's an indictment on Hornacek (not the lineup, I'm happy playing the youngsters, but still wouldn't have benched Knight. The Knight/Bledsoe backcourt has worked this year despite some of the moaning on this board).

I don't think it's that bad considering who we are starting. We are starting a first and second year guy, and old vet and two semi-young guys. It's like the T-Wolves, who started Towns, Wiggins, Rubio, Dieng and Tayshaun Prince tonight. They lost by 14 at Boston.

I can't remember, do you want Hornacek out? I think once before you said you thought he should at least finish out the season. The game is far from over though. I still think Knight will get close to as many minutes as usual.

I want him out. There's just been no noticeable progress defensively or with turnovers. Initially I wanted him to get through the year, but at this point given the last few games, I don't want to waste the entire year with no improvement on team defense or taking care of the ball or in end of game situations. He is not able to get through to the players, and that's his main job.

Hornacek is not "coaching for his job". That is silly, and people are listening to this board and not using their own common sense. Horns may not get renewed by McD or Sarver at the end of the year, but he is not a game by game coach waiting to get fired. Silliness or drunk poster....I'm not sure which is worse.

You sound like a few Rocket fans before McHale got fired. Coaches get fired mid season all the time, particularly when they perform below expectations. As a young team, we haven't improved. Our individual skill level is better than last year, and we've won fewer games, with no improvement on team defense or end of game situations. What is it that Hornacek has actually done well this year?

Devin Booker threw the ball too early in that fast break which is why it lead to a turnover. He'll learn in time.

Booker is not even close to be ready for primetime yet.

I like Jeff taking Booker out to let him know he made a mistake, but at the same time let him play through his mistakes. He must have been told his job is on the line.

Hornacek is a disgrace. Bench Booker less than two minutes into the second half? Way to kill a kid's confidence. So you let Bledsoe and Knight play through their turnovers all the time (including Bledsoe's horrendous game tonight) and Booker makes one bad play and he is taken out of the game. Hornacek cannot be fired soon enough. The team obviously does not listen to him too because they are playing like undisciplined elementary school players.

Bled is playing terrible. Let's run a Knight/Booker backcourt with Len in the middle.

Return to Phoenix Suns
