Still think the Suns look so much better without Jeff. Imagine a full lineup.

Watson said Keef was trying to motivate Archie. "No leader is perfect....but the love is there." Cited their close relationship again

No leader is perfect? Hahaha. If this guy is your leader, you are the worst team in sports.

Remember when we thought Chandler wouldn't let this happen.

Its because we dont want to piss off our "Great Team Leader".

Can we get a little more of that clip? Archie was saying something at the end. "Every" was the last word you heard and can see it is synced with his mouth.

"Every time it's all my fault" plus a few expletives.

Agreed. So much negativity has built up around Horny. Its like this team got an exhale with a player's coach in Watson.

  • We stuck with GS for 3 out of 4 quarters. That's promising. Young teams will struggle to play focussed for 4 quarters in a row. Things could have easily deteriorated into another blowout after that second quarter, but our guys kept playing hard.
  • Markieff with another good stats line. Under Watson: 20.6 ppg, 7.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 45% fg. in 5 games. Regardless of his altercation with Archie, his value in the other GM's should be rising steadily.
  • Booker with a nice all around game. 7 turnovers is obviously high but he wasn't exactly playing against the Honka Playboys here, GS's 'D' will force you to turn the ball over.
  • Archie with 20 points in the second half. Sure, many of his points game in garbage time but still good to see that he was able to rebound from a dreadful start.
  • Orlando Johnson showed promise as a hustling/ hard playing guy off the bench. 8 rebounds and 3 blocks.
  • Mirza Teletovic is continuing to show that he's a good scoring punch off the bench, which any contender in the league could use.

Mr. Puddles, if I haven't said it before, I'll say it now: I like you. Keep up the good work!
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

I like it. Kief cares and will not accept less. When he put his mouth piece back in, every one around the bench knew it was about to get DIRTY!! Archie is gliding and not playing hard.... got CHECKED!! The fact that Kief is the one who is regulating, makes me laugh. LEAD WITH AN IRON FIST YOUNG MAN!!

I am getting word that Markieff Morris flipped off a fan and cussed him out in the tunnel after the game.

John Gambadoro ‏@Gambo987 13m13 minutes ago
This organization is an absolute train wreck. Major overhaul needed ASAP. Suns brass afraid to do the right thing.

John Gambadoro ‏@Gambo987 13m13 minutes ago
So Archie Goodwin didn't want Markieff Morris' advice -- Can you blame him? No one wants Markieff's advice. NO ONE

John Gambadoro ‏@Gambo987 12m12 minutes ago
This approach by Earl of loving and nurturing the team is ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. More collateral damage for your Phoenix Suns

John Gambadoro ‏@Gambo987 6m6 minutes ago
The fact that Earl went to Markieff and made him the leader should get him fired!

Its funny, I teach AP World History and the first thing I teach my kids is author bias.......... Who is the author? John Gambadoro. Why might his statement have bias? He hates Markieff Morris and wants him off of the team.

Grain of salt when it comes to him and his two-faced ways. He was on the radio this afternoon with McD signing Watson's praise and how the Suns are hustling.....smh. He can't be trusted, at all. Straight two-face,

For you guys new to the game, players and coaches get into on the sidelines often.

We were the 6th seed in November. Let's build on that instead of all this negative stuff k guys.

If we build on thinking we're the 6th seed, we'd sign Brandon Knight and Tyson Chandler to become a contender and finish 2nd last.

Better to deal with reality.

Many thanks! Three more nuggets or random info I wanted to share for a bit of optimism:

  • Booker was 3 rebounds shy of becoming the youngest player in the history of the NBA to record a triple double.
  • Booker and Mudiay (3) are the only rookies so far with double digit assist games this season.
  • Booker's pre-draft comparison Klay Thompson's career high in assists is 8

GetYourPHX wrote:Honestly, how can anyone hate this Warriors team? It seems like all of these guys have great stories.

Steph and Bogut were both "always injured and overpaid." Dray was second round pick that made it. Barbosa was hurt and out of the league. Iggy was overpaid and unable to become a team player. Livingston came back from one of the most brutal injuries I've ever seen.

And now they might be the best basketball team the world has ever seen outside of The Dream Team.

EDIT: And to add to it, they're setting this record in the ultimate era of prima donna players and their agents pulling power moves to form "big 3's" all across the league. Truly incredible stuff. They're playing some amazing basketball.

Yeah, the Warriors are playing a beautiful basketball. I saw a statistics (on GB?) a couple of days ago: so far this season: James Harden >400 isolation plays, the whole Warriors team - 350.

Morris shouldn't be calling anyone out after his horrid start to the season and lackluster play under Hornacek, that's probably why Archie got pissed off.

So Morris put his hands around Ibaka's throat a couple of nights ago and Goodwin's throat last night. Wonder who he'll choke next?

This game was really frustrating to watch as it just felt like we might have been able to pull this one off if we were to put in the same level of effort. The warriors play with maximum effort all the time. That sequence when we gave up 4 offensive rebounds in a row was really disheartening. There needs to be more passion and energy. Things have gotten better since Jeff left but I hate watching Chandler just stand there and not move. Other players trailing the play playing lackadaisical.

I get that the offense is rough sometimes with this team. I love Booker but he needs to be told to be more aggressive in taking shots. When we go scoreless for 5 minutes of game time, he needs to take the shots. I don't care if he's not making them. No one else is either.

Would the Suns still be as good as the Warriors if they called moving screens?
