Thanks! My only gripe with Lowry is his fg% but pairing him with Cousins is not a bad way start to a draft

Can't believe Boogie nearly fell to me!

...but Boogie's FG% is horrific too man, 45%...

Yeah for a big man that's pretty terrible. Looks like I might have to punt fg%. I had Brandon Knight and Kevin Love last season so I'm no stranger to it  :(

Never punt cats in roto!!! Only in H2H.

If you punt roto you're only finishing mid-table at best and you'd have to win like 3-4 cats and avoid bottom 3-4 in the rest. Kerrsed's team last year punted FT% I think, and while he crushed a few other cats he was mid-table I believe.

Just build with positive FG% guys from here on out - Dragic at PG etc.

Here's what I do in money leagues I'm in - look at what the averages were for the top team in each category from previous years.

Using last year as an example, aim to have your team/active roster as close to these overall averages:

FG% - 47.3%
FT% - 82.3%
PTS - 17.2pts
REB - 6.7reb
AST - 4.8ast
STL - 1.2stl
BLK - 0.9

You can obviously 'not target' 1-2 categories but don't tank.

Last season Ulq dominated as his worst category he still scored a 5 in (REB). Sure winning 3 cats helped, but Wild Wild Westbrook had as many top 4 cat finishes (5) but he had 2 in the bottom 4 which killed him...

Thanks man. I'll do that from here on out. It's just hard finding players that satisfy each category. I may have to choose a player or two that have good fg% even if it means taking a slight hit in a certain category like steals or blocks.
Spoiler:
Funny enough, Dragic may or may not have been someone I was planning to target in a future round

Dont remind me. Trying to increase my blocks early in the year by overplaying centers killed my FT$% and it never recovered, even with Westbrook. had Draymond, and Giannis as well which didnt help, nor did having Rondo.

Ended up with over 900 assists more than the second placed guy in that catergory, and about 400 rebounds. Yes there is such as thing as "too many stats."

Almost relieved that Bledsoe was picked before me because I was probably going to take him. I'll draft Brook Lopez who fits as a BPA/need.

I'll go with Victor Oladipo. VERY happy to have drafted him at this spot. I didn't think he'd be here and figured I'd have to choose between he and Lopez. He had a very solid 2016 with Scott freakin Skiles coaching, so fingers crossed for an even better year.
