The longer McD waits on "winning" a deal, the more he's going to have to overpay for a PG. I think the time is now, overpay... It's probably worth it, considering what we have hasn't shown much so far anyway, would it really be an overpay?

I don't even care if we only have 40 games of Teodosic due to injuries. That's still 40 games of a PG who could run an NBA offense

Relax. None of these guys who played during this terrible stretch will be even in the Suns rotation this year.

This is McD's MO.

Wait until there's nothing left, he has to overpay or the player gets pissed off. It's pretty much been accepted that we would have to overpay even a little because everyone knows the roster McD's built.

So they fired their coach 3 games in last year maybe we can get lucky and they fire their gm 3 games into the preseason this year.

Yeah I know he does that, and it was fine in the past cause you were trying to tank from the get-go. It's not okay now, when you really need to start ending the tank. He just needs to overpay at this point, otherwise the entire team suffers and regresses (if that's even possible)

I am a little surprised a rich powerful owner wouldn't just get rid of Thibs...I know you make your money by being stingy but he is hurting the team badly by playing hardball with Thibs.

I don't think Thibs will pull the trigger on any Butler trade. He either would have to be gone or Taylor should just say Layden is in charge of this (unless Thibs contract is written in a way that it can't happen like that, which might be the case here).

Bad situation in Minnesota. Like our Bledsoe one but far worse since they were a playoff team and it is a top 10-15 player.
