Derozan
Terry Rozier
Richaun Holmes
Lou Will

All available for players and/or picks.

Will look at anything reasonable, ideally sending 2-3 out and getting 1-2 back.

What is weird is I can't imagine too many trades happening right now as most managers don't want 2-3 new players when they are struggling to cull their keeper list as it is. That got me to thinking about the upcoming draft day. Technically our keeper lists are set before draft day. So when it is my turn to draft the #2 can I put it out on the trade block in exchange for another manager's keeper??? How long is the time window for me to make the draft pick? 24 hours? Do we use PMs to negotiate?? Who announces the exchange? Does the drafted player have to be named before the exchange occurs or does the manager receiving the pick get a set amount of time before naming their selection. In other words, can the new manager move the pick??

So have draft day trades happened in the past and if so how??

In the past the rules have been that you can trade draft picks but not when you are on the clock. I think we already have done the lottery so you should be able to offer up your pick already if you want someone.

Watching the trades spreadsheet I realized I turned oladipo, richaun holmes and a 4th into Ayton, Capela, Thybulle and a 2nd. I'd be dead last if not for trading (still doing bad  )

That's a pretty damn good team, would especially be if Klay was healthy and Oladipo comes back to form.

By the way, I can't remember, do we have an IR spot?

Yes but not until the season starts. Only 8 keepers ... injured or not. And only 7 if you want to retain your first round pick.

Well yes, I know that...I made the suggest for the extra keeper or 1st round pick. I just couldn't remember if we had an IR spot, and of course never would suggest it give someone an extra keeper.

I'm waiting till the deadline. But if we can move ahead of schedule I'll declare them now. Regardless, there will be two decent players hitting FA.

Where is this at or can I get access to it trying to see if I made any trades last year and can’t remember.

I'd like to remind people to keep an open mind that's it's not so much about the top teams being stacked as it is about the entire league enjoying their experience and making participation in the dynasty league a much more in depth process...Although basement teams will probably be helped by teams not being able to be stacked for so long, those owners still have to make smart decisions in regards to bidding/contracts/whatever.

Also quite frankly having title windows that literally span 10-15 years is absurd. It would be nice to get those windows to lengths more like in the NBA, where teams seem to have ~5 year windows and they retool as contracts expire and players become more costly, and then compete again.

On an unrelated note, I still haven't declared keepers and would like to know when the deadline is to submit. I don't want to hold up the draft or any other offseason proceedings but as we saw, offseason injuries are always a possibility and I'd like to submit my keepers as late as possible before the offseason moves ahead to its next phase.

Here are the deadlines as I understand

Nov 30th - Deadline to choose (and/or trade) players from your roster at the end of last season as keepers.
Dec 2nd - Start of Draft
Dec 22nd - Start of Season
This is correct. Thanks bigfoot.

Past trades (the ones I did record at least) can be seen on the "Trades" sheet here:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1LWc-TP573LjiEJF8lfLFkEFcxhdicjLY9YnCy2YX4zk/htmlview#

I've had a crazy busy couple of weeks but should be able to guide and respond all doubts more quickly from Monday on (after I get my sleep up to par again)

Who has jimmy butler. I know I had him starting of last year and know I was looking to trade him just seeing if I actually did? He isn’t on my team anymore.

Time for each pick is 24 hours. We usually tighten that window as draft progresses but we have enough time and few enough draft rounds to get it all done before season starts.

Your pick is tradeable already. I will also permit that it can be traded when you are on the spot, as it's so easy to bypass that restriction that it's best to just not use it, rather than giving some with creative trading skills an edge.

Thanks bw. Seems like kind of a lot to ask for both of them to return to form.... also I'm still kicking myself for not just taking Doncic (I seem to remember us talking about it before that draft).

The rule is in place to prevent someone from just not making their pick and saying their pick is up for trade and waiting out the 24 hours. This would happen in Premier where everyone would make their pick within an hour or so for a bunch of picks and then someone asks if anyone is interested in their pick and just to respond before the deadline and then sometimes there isn't a trade anyway.

These picks don't even seem that valuable that they would be worth much in trade anyway.

Who did you take over Doncic? It seems that would have been the 1 or 2 pick that year in the draft so I cannot see who you would have taken over him, unless you traded Ayton or something.
