I don't think the Suns want this bad enough, to be honest. Curry isn't unstoppable but if they put a subpar defender on him, he'll burn you nearly every time. The last thing we need is for him to heat up... and he looks like he's warming up.

This small ball stuff isn't working for us. If Ayton is having success against their bigs, we need to exploit it. Williams is terrible at switching things up when we need it. Will he once again wait until it's too late?

This is going to be a great learning experience because we've been 2 levels below them for much of the game.

We're still a very good team. But if we lose tonight, it'll be because of the very same issues that we've ignored addressing since the start of the season:

1- Not addressing our rebounding issues at all.

2- Our 3 pt / perimeter defense is pretty bad. Giving up.too many wide open shots, Also lousy defensive rotations.

On top of that. We've for whatever reason, decided to play small against them and go away from our size advantage that actually helped us to win the one game in the series against them. Also trying to get in a fast paced shooting game with them ( Especially with Curry) is a gross miscalculation on our part.

It boggles my mind that Monty can't figure out that our size advantage is wherein we should focus to get higher percentage open shots. But we should've been trying to punish them inside instead of trying to out shoot them!!!
