Your probably right unless Sarver said play hard and we will look at everything to move you out?? Just speculating on his effort.

Sure, might be possible, but I doubt it. I expect Shawn to stick around for the rest of the season and then leave next summer, which really sucks.

No it doesn't.. Marion leaving and opening up cap room is one of the best things that can happen to us.

If the team had half the heart Nash does.. We'd be going for a three-peat this year. :-(

Suns -21 rebounds
Suns -20 FGA

Correlation?

Al Jefferson 15-29 39 points

Amare 13-14 29 points
Shawn 3-3 7 points

Raja 7-17 18 points

Shawn and Amare's comined FGA equals that of Raja's but doubles his poductivity. Maybe time to start going to the guys that we are paying the big bucks to?

Open Job: 2008 NBA Champions

Phoenix Suns Resume:

* 2-6 against Dallas, NO, SA and LA
* 1-2 against Minny
* Loss to Clippers
* Loss to Miami
* Loss to Atlanta
* Outrebounded in nearly every game
* Our Motto "We will outshoot you" - Just hope you dont get 30 more shots than us.

Would you hire the Suns for the job?

mkot wrote:So you're telling me that the same young team that had gone as far as the 2nd round is a fluke and they don't have talent? Where do you see me comparing our team with the Bulls? You completely miss my point. The point is that fans were putting all the blames on coach (like Skiles) but the reality is that their players are responsible for their sh*tty effort. How about the Rocket? They fired a good coach in JVG thought he is the problem for choking in the playoffs, so they fired JVG, how have they been?

That Bulls team was healthy. This year there have been injuries to Deng, Nocioni, and now Hinrich. And that year, nobody knew what to expect so they were able to surprise a lot of teams.

Same with the Rockets, TMac has missed most of the season.

For every team that has had a coaching change and still sucked, there have been teams that have had a coaching change and done much better. Don't you remember the suns team in the mid 90's that opened the season 0-13 and then changed coaches, then went on to make the playoffs?

I wasn't saying that it is ALWAYS the coaches fault, I was just making a point that you can't ALWAYS blame the players and ALWAYS defend the coach, and that SOMETIMES a change of coach can be a good thing.

EDIT: Mental blank, what year was that 0-13 team? I'm think late nineties.. think Ainge was the coach back then..

I didn't, what makes you think I'm defending Mike and blaming everything on the players? Someone blame the rebounding and horrific offense on the coach thus want him fired, and I disagreed. That's all.

Maybe its too late to change a coach now but I just could not believe how one dimenisional Dantoni is.
