0-9 then 3-3 from beyond the arc?

This game is straight out of the twilight zone!

It is these type of games that make you want to pull your hair out. One day Diaw can totally suck. The next he can totally dominate. Heck, one half he can totally suck then the next half he will play well. It is too frustrating.

Diaw should earn 9 million this season, 2 the next, then 9, then 3... as his game. Inconsistent salary for inconsistent player

nah, he should be paid via stats per game. how awesome would that be.

Guess Sarver would be the happiest man alive if that would be possible - no more lux tax troubles.

Apart from our shooting guards (Bell, Raja, DJ), Phoenix shot 45 times and made 52. That's 81%.

Bell, Raja and DJ shot 3/19 in the 1st 3 periods (16%), but salvaged the night by shooting 7/12 (58%) in 4th.

Imagine if they had shot that way (18/31) the whole night ...

We'd have shot 63/83, or 76%, and an extra 23 (or so) points.

So if Barbs and Raja can get their act together (and DJ, too), we can shut teams like this out with 150 points.

Highly theoretical, of course, since it's rare that a team of shooters doesn't have one bad night in the bunch, but these guys used to be really reliable. What is with that?

i don't care we won by 14 that was some pathetic defense.

we shouldn't have nash to play 40 minutes to beat this team

but i guess a win is a win

Paul's going to put up 75 tomorrow night and Nash will play 45 minutes in a loss. ;)

In all seriousness, this team looks the exact same as it did the first night against LA. only, now, we lack the intensity we had the first few nights with Shaq. There were atleast 15-18 wide open 3s for the Grizz tonight - so it's not hard to see they shot close to 40%. And, when the post options are Darko, Jason Collins and Warrick, it's hard to fathom why so many 3s were unguarded. It's not like Tim Duncan or Carlos Boozer was down on the low block getting double teams. It's just a lack of awareness and defensive intensity. Which, IMO, may big the big loss from losing Marion as he brought intensity on D every night. Right now, we don't have that consistency on the perimeter D.

Still, the team finished well and road games in February can be a bitch. Just ask Utah - who lost by 11 at Minnesota tonight.
