If Bledsoe is worth max contract he would received it.

Supposedly, the Rockets did not match Parson's offer based on a demand by DH's agent, as Parsons and DH share the agent and this agent made Howard's arrival to the Rockets possible.

Not correct. They let him BECOME a UFA a year before they had to based on the agreement. The not matching was their own decision.

I believe by no means they thought Parsons would receive such a big offer...

So what can a re-signed Eric Bledsoe fetch if we, indeed, deal him at some point?

If he's a top 20 player as the cultists think he is, you'd have to think we could get a pretty damn good return.

Would rather have signed him for 64/4 @ $16 million per year.

If his knees sh it the bead in year two, we are stuck with him for 3 more years.

I hope we learn from Amare and trade him in year 3 of the contract when his trade value is peaking rather then wait until he is a free agent again and either sign him to a 5/120 max deal or lose him for nothing.

Nah, couldn't happen until mid season anyway.

We wouldn't have signed that deal without insurance on the contract. Sarver knows better. That means the Suns were willing to sign a hefty insurance premium, I'm sure, in order to get this done. Wouldn't surprise me if that was also communicated to Bledsoe.

Obviously they are not too worried about his injuries though.

Well, I didnt say it'll be immediate..

But I cant fathom the Suns potentially have invest 35~37 Million a year on players who play their best at the PG position.

Scary, scary contract. The medical staff better have given the all-clear.

Also Suns using up its 5 year contract on Bledsoe...
What does that say to Dragic?.. Goran that is...

4 year extention?..

or is McD finally getting his way over Babby and Sarver?

Because I would say McD would be more pro-Bledsoe than Dragic.

Anyone that's concerned about the amount of years, I'll put this out there. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Bledsoe traveled to Phoenix today not just to sign the contract (that was probably agreed to a few days ago), but to take a physical. If our training staffed looked him over and agreed that a 5 year deal made sense, I'm not going to question that. I trust our training staff. End of story.
