He could be the worst defender and slowest player in the draft though.

He takes such short strides when running.

If Allonzo Trier played with the all around effort of Kadeem Allen he'd be a lotto pick. Allen is going to go down as one of my all time favorite Cats

Yeah, Zo is a strange case. I think he has ice in his veins and doesn't get rattled, but at the same time he's not as aggressive as other players with that trait. I'm not sure it's because he trusts his teammates a lot and doesn't look to force the issue, or if he was explicitly told not to be ball dominant, but he's got the ability. I'm not sure I'd say he doesn't give effort, but he does seem content to defer.

I still think he's a steal in the second round.

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Interesting. I read in a couple of places his defense on Lamande changed the game tonight and that Comanche and Ristic were both getting owned. Markkanen blocked him twice and played good post defense once Miller switched. Idk...

I watched the game. Markannen defended Lamande better than anyone. Ristic and Comanche both got abused. I can't even tell what Comanche was doing today. Probably his worst game in over a year.

Markannen has some holes in his game like everybody, but he isn't even close to being the slowest or worst defender in the class. In fact, he's pretty damn agile for his size.

Markkanen's defense is one of the main reasons we won the P12 tourney. It has improved significantly... I don't think he had any idea how to defend for a majority of the season but he is coming around. I kinda dig that he's only attempted two 3's in the last three games and going to work down low.

Xavier will be out for revenge and they're peaking right now.

Who are we rooting for between the Zags and Press Virginia?

I want a rematch with the Zags. I love the idea of them being close to the Final 4, only to be quashed by the Cats. That being said, I will not be rooting for Gonzaga.

Just like Saint Mary's got shafted against Arizona when the refs called a foul late in the game on SMC's player when Lauri clearly pushed him in the back.

It's their per100 stats combined with some shooting splits from hoop-data...
then I compare their numbers with former draftees (in the same position and age) since 2011.
Once everything is ranked in percentiles, this is what the chart shows.

Physical Rating = combined percentile in Height,Weight and Wingspan
all combine data is adjusted by density
Rim, 2PJ and 3P Rating = combined percentile in FGA, FG% and unnassisted shots
2P and FT Rating = combined percentile in FGA and FG%
Ast Rating = combined percentile in assists per 100 and ast/TO
Adj ORtg = player ORtg - team ORtg
Adj DRtg = team DRtg - player DRtg

I missed the DSJ one. Could you pls repost, or tell me what page it's on?
I really liked him, and now he is not even in the top5s in most mockdrafts, and I still think he is better than Fox and Monk.

A good writeup on Ball's shot on ringer. Will not settle the dispute, but definatley worth a read.

DeAaron Fox playing in the round of 32 now.

I have him as our most likely pick behind the consensus 3 (Fultz, Ball, Jackson) if we fall to 4-6.

He's still really good, but Jawun Evans had a better year than him as a 19yo

You can see tho with his putbacks numbers, if he tests in the combine (highly unlikely), he'll improve his prospect rating
