I figured it was a three team deal at first. I also thought Boston might want Okafor since they have been rumored to be interested before. But Boston could send the 1 to Philly and the Brooklyn unprotected 2018 pick to the Bulls and Philly could send Okafor, the #3 and the unprotected Lakers pick to the Bulls.

Butler for the #3, Sixers and Lakers unprotected picks next year and Okafor? How do you possibly turn that down?

I don't know. They may want Fox. They would probably suddenly get workouts from JJ, Fox, Tatum and maybe Isaac.

I know it's late for the Suns, but I would've loved to have seen a markelle fultz and devin booker backcourt.. it would've been dynamic one in my opinion

I have not problem giving the Lakers the lower of the two picks in 2018 and even a Toronto pick - but that's about it.

Screw them

And if they want us to take Mozgov - they can take Knight, that gives them a few million of cap space

I feel like someone in the league office needs to step in and stop Ainge from collecting assets.

I really hope we don't draft a PG for a few reasons.

The number one reason is because we have Devin Booker. He is going to control the ball most of the time. Almost like with Kobe but with much better passing and vision.

Next we have a log jam anyways with Bledsoe, Knight, and Ulis. And I know none of these guys are long term for us I just don't thing RIGHT now is the time to draft a PG.

Now speaking of our PG jam even if we traded one of Bledsoe and Knight I really like Ulis off the bench. We can wait a year or two before drafting a PG IMO.

Ulis imo has great court vision, passing, and his offense isn't bad. On defense he is pesky because he works hard the only down side is his height. As a bench PG I love him though.

And with one of Bledsoe or Knight or both I don't see the need for a pg this year. Next year or the year after I wouldn't mind. Injuries at PG aren't a huge concern for me either anymore with Dbook able to take control too. Also we do have Ulis on contract for a few more years.

Ulis really stepped it up when he started getting good playing time too after we sat just about everyone.

In April He averaged 21 and 7

In march he averaged 12/8

And just for reference Ulis is only 21 so hes not some old dog. Id like to keep seeing him come off the bench for the foreseeable future.

So just to repeat my self like a parrot Id like a PG in a year or two but not meow.

Bostons wants more picks and then will flip them for Butler. Apparently they are going to max out Hayward. Ainge going all in with his assets.

EDIT: Lowe just said it was a done deal. Fultz just needs to pass his physical.

Ainge making the moves McD WISHES he could do.

If we end up taking a guard, I'd rather it be Monk than any other than Fultz. He doesn't threaten Bled's time/position so no internal drama...and I'm betting he could pick up PG skills better than Fox learning to shoot, or Ball not being a train wreck. Getting the best shooter in the draft wouldn't suck. The dude is a baller.

If Boston walks out of the off season with Butler, Hayward and Okafor by only giving up #1 and Crowder or Smart .... geez... its almost criminal

There's no way Boston would be keeping #3 in a trade for Butler.

Yup.

I know we had the tankers vs anti-tankers here in the past (current)... But personally I wanted the Suns to tank to get a high pick which I always saw as a golden ticket to a star rookie or a trade chip that can help grab immediate impact player or players that makes the Suns better... Better Either down the road or immediately.
