Probably either Kawhi and/or George to LA and/or James to LA/Houston since James has to opt in by Friday if he wants to get signed and traded or remain with the Cavs iirc.

I think his tweet might be in regards to the Suns because of his background, but its just speculation at this point

I imagine he means LeBron opting out. Though PG just opted out (or said he will) so wouldn't that be the first move?

I don't know man. All signs seem to point to a Suns move.

I just never saw Espo as someone with inside info. But then again, why would he post the obvious. Everyone knows James will opt out tomorrow.

If that tweet about Klove is correct, who do you think we'd be sending off? I just hope it's not JJ or Bridges

Edit: Actually that tweet didn't mention Love, only the cavs but it's basically implying that it's Love

Probably Warren, Chriss, and the Bucks pick are gone. McD cashing in all of his chips this summer.

Would be very sad to see Warren go but I might actually do this trade.

For Love, there's 0 chance we're giving up JJ, Bridges, Ayton, or Book.
My guess is it would be the Bucks pick and/or a protected Suns first (maybe), and Chriss.

Usually when I think we'll give up too much, we give up less.
I'd be happy just dealing the Bucks pick and Chriss. We can absorb a lot of his salary too if needed

Something like:

Dudley
Chriss
Williams
Bucks first

for

Love
Korver

This would free up room for the Cavs. If Cleveland doesn't value cap space, then we'd have to throw in another pick at least.

Another option is

Chandler
Dudley
Williams
Chriss
Bucks pick
(maybe another protected pick but would rather not)

for

Love
Hill

This would save the cavs about 15mil right off the bat (assuming they cut williams) and around 20mil next year

Again, just depends on how much they value cap space.

Better not be giving up Bender. Dude shot magnificent from 3 last season for a 20 year old 7 footer. We got Ayton in the middle and Bender is the perfect PF to play next to him.

Kevin Love sounds like an obvious move for you if LeBron leaves Cleveland. He won’t improve your defense at all but he is likely to be the best available power forward and you should be able to get him for good value. It all depends on how good Ayton becomes on defense but he has the physical tools to be good.

I also think Kemba is a no brainer if he’s available. Currently I would play Booker at 1 and Bridges at 2 but if Kemba joins you can move Booker to 2 and have Mikal come off the bench.

Kemba, Booker, Jackson, Love and Ayton could be a 50-win team.

Adding Hill makes sense too. FO talked about adding veterans, so having Hill and Love is ideal. Though would like to keep Chandler for his final year just to mentor Ayton.

Hill / Knight
Booker / Reed
Jackson / Bridges
Love / Bender
Ayton / Chandler

Talk about some major improvements to our 3 point shooting woes from last season.

If we did nab Hill and Love, it would make me think McD wasn't confident about his chances of landing guys like Smart, VanVleet, Ariza, Ersan, etc.

Thinking further, I believe we're looking at this completely wrong.

The Cavs guy never indicates it's a deal with the Cavs. I could see it being a trade with the Lakers for Deng and Ball for maybe the Bucks pick or a young player like Chriss or Bender.
Those assets then get moved to the Spurs.
Thus....goodbye LeBron.

Those guys would hardly be a game changer for us. Ariza is older and wants a big contract, Ersan is a role player that I don’t believe should take minutes from Bender (or Chriss if we still have him). Smart is asking for too much and can’t shoot. Van Fleet would be an under the radar type move but certainly think he wouldn’t be our prized free agent acquisition for the summer.

*edit* don’t see why we try and help the Lakers. Booker said he wants to be making the playoffs now. I would not be trying to third wheel any Lakers or Spurs trade.

You know, I was just thinking about this today walking the dogs - the one name I have not heard is Kevin Love. Gambo has not mentioned him at all. And Lebron is TRULY leaving the Cav for the Lakers - they might want to rebuild and get cheaper and younger. Suns could do the following trade

Warren Dudley, Reed Chriss and Daniels plus the Bicks pick

Love and Hill

Suns would have to waive Alan Williams. But this deal saves the Cavs a boatload of money. I guess if you want to keep Sauce and Dudley - substitute Chandler

very interesting if true that it happens today

If the Suns take on Luol Deng I am going to be pretty mad. They already have 27m wasted; might have 42 wasted with Knight
lets make it 60 m

I highly doubt the Cavs will trade Love before LeBron makes his decision.
