Bad PR... excessive profanity. Dude needs to tighten that **** up.... Seriously, if he is that loose with private videos going public then it will be a problem. Suns FO needs to school these young chumps on professional behavior on and off the court. Videos like these are the ones where a bong shows up on a coffee table. His posse needs to be corralled.

And fer CSakes.... get a housekeeper, and a bed frame. I swear, about every punk I know these days is a GD slob.

You dont see that crap from Doncic.... and he has an impeccable house.

Yeah, I think this was the first time that we did that set.

Hopefully we incorporate more plays like that.

How was his overall D, regardless of the first question?
Thanks

He defended Giannis a good amount of time but we switched a lot on defense, so he was on other players too.

He played great, probably one of his best defensive games. He was very active and pushed (without fouling) more than he usually does to get better position on defense/rebounding.

If he plays like that every game you will never hear a complain about his defense again. I guarantee you that.

Watched the replay. Totally right. If he plays like this then we are sitting pretty. And I don t even mean raw or advanced stats, just his toughness, the way he carried himself on the court, etc... This was his best game, better than where he put up bigger scoring or rebounding numbers. Made good, valuable, winning plays, played with some much needed agression, chip on his shoulders. That was missing (and criticized) so far, not his numbers. Hoooorrraaaayyyy and lets keep this up, pretty please with sugar on the top!

Really impressed with Ayton's defense as of late. He seems a lot more engaged and he's moving extremely well. I feel like with the addition of Tyler Johnson who's an excellent PnR defender, his veteran savvy and defense has really helped Ayton as well.

It will be interesting to see how Ayton plays defense against the Knicks without a big name star to defend. Hopefully he's motivated by the win and not the matchup.

Well he will be going up against Mitchell Robinson who has been doing well.

Interesting comparison of the rookies. Gray diagonal is the average. Shows that Ayton isn't a negative on the defensive end and has a positive overall impact. Mitchell Robinson is a steal for the Knicks, Kevin Knox is the opposite.

This comparison must be wrong. Ayton looks like 3rd best rookie there and we all know he is not even in top 10 best rookies.

If the original plan that some here had of drafting Luka #1 and grabbing Mitchell Robinson with one of our later picks materialized we would have the two overwhelmingly best offensive players and defensive player to form a near perfect 1-2 punch

He’s probably the best shot blocker in the NBA already and he’s barely a rookie.

Knicks finally got something good with him.

This is some high praise. I consider KOC to be among the very smartest if not the smartest NBA junkie/personality out there.

Could Bol Bol be this years Mitchell Robinson? He seems to have fallen off a lot of peoples radar since his injury.

I don't think he's as athletic, but he was a good shot blocker and was shooting over 50% from 3 in college this year in his 9 games. He's a guy you'd want to stagger with Ayton as much as possible, but they could play together possibly, if you put Ayton on a 4, but wouldn't really work in small ball lineups.

The so called gurus on the draft board voted him 8th. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1812745

Here are his numbers this year.. http://www.tankathon.com/players/bol-bol

No wonder the three point shot is a thing. When the best players in the league are getting just over 1 ppp from a post-up, it compares to shooting 33% from the three. The leagues best post up players have the same impact as a poor to mediocre three point shooter.

True! However, there's a lot less variance involved in posting up. If you have a nice lead, it's probably best to slow down the pace through post-ups rather than hoisting up threes.
