Lol, I know its painful handling anything with Broussard. He was also the guy that said Lebron to the Knicks was a lock.

It's okay to read his predictions or what his "sources" say but never believe it. Just be aware and informed of it.

Interesting. I just click on "Details" when I find the tweet and it opens a full page of the tweet and copy the link of that page and post it in between the tweet brackets. Works every time. Not doing it from a phone though.

Too many fake accounts ut there, so i just use the twitter feed on Hoopshype to stay up to date.

http://hoopshype.com/twitter/media.html

Then i just right click, copy link location on the time at the right side of the tweet. Simple.

Good to know. That is where I usually see the tweets, but then I go find them on twitter and do it the way I mentioned. I click on the tweets on hoopshype rumors sometimes, and then it takes me to some hoopshype twitter feed and then I can't find it again easily. Nice to know I can right click on it.

I clicked on that feed link. I don't really like that...too much crap in that feed. The best and most informative ones are usually mentioned on the rumors page.

I think Orlando will not make an offer to Bledsoe. Gordon can be his assurance if Oladipo/Payton need a veteran pressence and way cheaper than Afflalo or Nelson.

Good. Figured they'd want a short term vet and possibly combo guard behind Payton and Oladipo.

Yeah, he is just a cap filler for right now. They just want to get to league minimum.

Though they are interested in Monroe, per Stein, who is a good fit there...their frontcourt is a little weak. Though rim protection would still be a problem. But they could easily offer him a max without hesitation...tons of cap space. I quoted and linked the article in the "Around the NBA" thread.

I know. I almost take it as bad news that he is saying LeBron to Miami isn't a done deal.

Whoever mentioned that Clevelands offer to Hayward takes them out of the Lebron sweepstakes is brilliant. If nothing else it means they have been told by Lebron's agent to look elsewhere.

Not news but ESPN has an article about what might entice LeBron to stay (in so many words)

--------------
Channing Frye | Age: 31 | PF/C | $8 million average annual value
C.J. Miles | Age: 27 | SG/SF | $2 million AAV
Ekpe Udoh | Age: 27 | PF/C | $2 million AAV

Splitting the cap space among these three players may not grab the biggest headlines, but it may yield the most wins for the Heat.

http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/story/_/ ... fresh=true
---------------

I guess we should stop thinking that Miami needs guys like Deng, Gasol, or Lowry for LeBron to stay there. Depth should also entice him and someone like Frye could do it. If not him, maybe Hawes.

On a side note, I really want McRoberts on this team (instead of Frye). He'll come cheaper for sure and can do more. He's a decent passer and ball handler. Finishes at the rim more than Frye does and can also shoot the 3. This is based on what I saw from him here in Charlotte last season.

Cavs saving us from our own stupidity by signing Hayward to an offer sheet.

This might be a silly question but is a max contract for Hayward the same amount as a max for Bledsoe?

I know Lebron's max is around 22mil. I can't imagine that's the number being talked about for Hayward.

It's still better than him saying him returning to Miami is a done deal. Any expert can say, "LeBron will return, bank on it". But to say he's not yet decided leave hope.
Each passing minute where Miami is struggling to sign guys and LeBron still hasn't committed is a small win for teams like us, who have hope to sign him. That's good enough for me.

Max deals off rookie contracts are somewhere around 15mil per season. Max deals after that are around 20mil per and beyond.
People act like giving a max to someone like Bledsoe is going to cap-strangle this franchise when in reality, it's not. It doesn't make it a good deal, but it's not like he's getting Joe Johnson money.

I will be disgusted if Lebron stays in Miami and that's what they surround him with, although it would be deserved.

Stephenson plays SG, a position that the NBA isn't very deep in. Has behavior issues.

Bledsoe plays PG, a position that the NBA is very deep in. Has injury issues.

About the same age for both guys.

Bledsoe. He has more all around game. Sephenson can score and play some D, but Bledsow can also assist and grab rebounds. The position also really doesnt matter as you can play Bled at SG.

Didn't Stephenson lead all SGs in assist and rebounds though?

Got it. Guys like Hayward and Bledsoe are coming off their rookie deals.

Thanks!

"The Cavs had been hoping to secure a meeting with LeBron James but haven't been unsuccessful and moved on to make Hayward their top few agent target."

http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/11168 ... -utah-jazz

I'm sure he meant the Cavs HAVE been unsuccessful. Otherwise the sentence makes no sense.
