NY may require us to first use an asset like one of the Heat picks to trade up to 3 to ensure the 3rd pick thus Jackson. If so, it's part of their tab, part of the value of the deal with them.

They can have either Chriss or Bender, keeping both would be kind of redundant. Just get a deal done.

I really want to keep Chris's. Maybe deal Bender depending on the deal. For example I think #4, Bled, Bender, Warren is getting close to too much

Porzingis + Noah for Zellar, Bradley, Crowder , Pick 4 and Future 1's works

They want to sign Hayward or trade for Butler. Boston is not a threat here, imo.

Disagree, Boston can offer the player the Knicks supposedly want in Jackson.
They also have good players to offer, the BKN 18 pick as well as many other picks.

We want to move Bledsoe's contract yet nothing about Knight?

Bledsoe is actually wanted by teams. Knight is not. We're stuck with him until his contract expires, then I can honestly see him not being picked up by a team in free agency and he just rides off into the sunset on his pink Vespa scooter.

At least it was only Fultz we missed out on with the pick we traded. Sixers used it to add to move from 3 to 1 and Boston can't decide on Jackson and Tatum. I'm guessing had we retained that pick and wanted Fultz, we could've done the same. Instead, we decided to trade it for a guy for the right to pay 70 million to a guy we no longer play. Ok, I'm done.

I don't really think KP gets moved, however if the suns really want to move Bledsoe, I bet Sacramento would take him for 10, he is an established vet which his is not at all bad I don't get why they want to move him outside of they can get more for him then knight.

I disagree, unfortunately:

"The Boston Celtics could make the best offer for a Porzingis trade, but the Phoenix Suns have both the necessary assets to get a deal done and the desire to bolster their ongoing youth movement.

In other words, they’re a more realistic trade partner for the Knicks since Boston seems more content with stockpiling assets than actually cashing them in."

Boston isn't dumb. They aren't gonna hold onto their stuff forever. Porzingis is the kind of player you cash in on. And with George wanting LA, Butler saying he likes Chicago, and Hayward being a UFA, this would be the time for Boston to strike. It's scary we haven't heard anything from them, but I am still hopeful Suns can get something done. I hope.

I have yet to hear Phil say he wanted Jackson. He said a top 4 pick, we have it. He wants Tatum or Jackson obviously. Why say Jackson and let Boston hold all of the cards?

If KP is getting traded, he is ours. We are in a difference conference and have what ever they need.

Damn if we got #8 back that would be a STEAL! We could still draft Dennis Smith! PG of the future

There's no way we get the 8 back. If we do, I'll personally run to TSR, break into the Suns war room or wherever they are, and give myself to McD. Not really, but it ain't happening.

Are the Knicks okay with trading a potential star player away within their same division? That could turn out to be awful.

For example, i don't think the Suns would've ever considered trading Dragic or IT within the division.

In terms of assets the Celtics have all over Phoenix pretty much. A lot more picks to offer. The only hope is that Phil will be reluctant to trade to a rival team in the same division, also Phoenix has the ability to take on Noah's deal if necessary as well.

Not exactly. Look, if Bledsoe is one of the assets involved here, that is a better player than anyone Boston would be including here. Boston isn't trading IT.

They have more picks sure, but for all the credit Ainge gets for ripping off stupid GMs in trades, he has been a HORRID drafter. Marcus Smart is arguably his best draft pick in the past decade. Also, you have to trade with Ainge, who a smart GM or even a bad one could grow tired of. Dude makes insane requests and refuses to trade guys like Terry Rozier in almost all trades. It is trying to get blood from a rock.

Relative to Boston, Phoenix can eat Noah's deal, offer Bledsoe and Chriss (a guy whose athleticism everyone already was high on but has proven to be further along than expected as a rookie), and also their picks, while keeping him out of conference. Ainge may refuse to include a ton of guys. He's the guy in your fantasy league who will only make insanely lopsided trades. That worked against a desperate Nets team, but may not work with Phil when half the league is making good offers.

I'm not saying it's going to happen. Truthfully Phil isn't predictable. But I wouldn't be sold that Boston or LA necessarily have more to offer. LA, if they include Ingram and NYK feel the same about Ingram as LA (that he is a destined star), then okay, but otherwise I am not sold they can offer more either. In my opinion, they just traded their only young player who has really shown anything to dump Mozgov.

Cap Projection just dropped 3 million too, even less room for Boston to work with next season than expected. KP to Phoenix please!

LA isn't giving up Ball and Ingram for KP.....that's all they have. LA....including the city, believes Ball is the truth and destined to be a Laker.
