Honestly CP3 and Crowder makes sense it lets Nets still have a shot to compete this year and they can clear that cap next year. Kyrie is unrestricted so they lose him for nothing if they don't move him and most those other teams packages don't keep that window open. They are going to need to get a pg back.

Well if they get CP3 - how would that team with Durant healthy be in the playoffs. Would Paul want to go play with Durant?

Lakers - do they want Chris Paul and Crowder if the Nets wanted Westbrook? I doubt they would facilitate Irving to the Suns that way

I dont see a scenario where we get Kyrie. I do see this making Durant available again.

Realistically I dont see us getting either, but of the two, Durant would be our goal. And late in the season is not really relevant when you factor in our record, injuries and chemistry issues with Da. A week and a half ago, this board was ready to flush the entire rest of the season. I dont see any of it happening but sure can't see us pivot to Kyrie.

I wouldn't do that deal if I were the Suns if it were Ayton for Irving. I think a deal would have to be centered around Crowder and Paul and my guess, Paul would probably be okay with it

People still look at numbers as if averaging 20+ ppg is the same as doing it 10 years ago. It's not. So players are going to be left out. It's the way it is. Only 12 spots.

I would obviously like Book to play. But resting, in our current situation, might be better.

I remember Barkley towards the end of his Suns career saying something like "If I can still average 20/10 I can still help a team" He would probably be averaging 30 in todays game.

By the end of his time with us it was nothing but posting up for whole possessions (illegal today) and mid-range jumpers. The most boring basketball I can remember as a Suns fan.

Young Barkley would rock the modern NBA, but old Barkley would get wrecked - switching to the perimeter on D and alternating between mid-range 2's and bricks from 3.

If Barkley would have allowed KJ to run the offense and play within it 100% of the time, no doubt Suns win a championship, especially if KJ never tried to pick up Oliver Miller causing a hernia that went undetected for awhile, causing multiple further injuries.
