I would be content with a Zoran and Goran swap for Nash and Randle.

Of course Dragic wants the 5th year. You think he's in a rush to join LA or NY's dumpster fire of a tank this season for any other reason? It's just BS from his camp to try to control this even more.

grumpysaddle wrote:What if this is all just a big ploy to get the Lakers to remove protection completely on that pick for Dragic. Dragic joins the Lakers and makes them suck even more, guaranteeing a probable 1st overall pick. Then he re-signs with the Suns in the off-season. Nash and Dragic have been working together the whole time to destroy the Lakers.

Well if that is the case, it would be nice. If things go badly tomorrow, I will gladly welcome your puking gifs. That was as entertaining as your OKC/PHX trades, though I know some don't like them.

Windy sounded like the Lakers were trying to get a 3rd team involved.

Does anyone else have a big problem with the place they host it on Mac OSX and Chrome? Always have issues.

Yes, I just have to download the mp3 for it to work.

Just passing by...

I sure hope so, but I have lowered my expectations (or trying to). I wouldn't mind giving up McBob as well, too bad he is hurt this year. McBob would fit very well with the Suns, he is a white Diaw who hustles and was easily our 2nd best play maker (our guards suck that much). Can shoot the 3, hustle, nice hair. Whats funny is his injury occurred during the end of the Suns game when Heat were in Phoenix. He was clutch too... Ugh he was just finding his way into our team.

Also I figured teams may be reluctant to even get the other Dragic... Then I remembered http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/23 ... icks-Magic

Miami makes sense only its our assets that are the issue.

Our only young assets are James Ennis (lol), and Napier (PG tho). Doubt that entices Suns.

I like McBob....I mentioned a couple of times a week or two back that I'd trade Thomas for McBob even though he is out, just to simply clean up our rotation and solidify back up bigs and one that can stretch the floor.

So I ended up listening to the podcast. Really good listen, too much to summarize tonight. I'd say it's almost mandatory listening for an understanding of how we got to this point.

All I'll say is that the FO comes out looking worse than Goran.

Going to bed feeling pretty down, to be honest.

I'm sure 90% of the board would be content with that.

90 percenter here. Hell, I'd even be down with bumping the pick protection to top 10 (this year only) for that deal. We almost certainly aren't seeing it this year anyway, and even if we did get it at 6-10 would the guy we pick ever even see the floor?

Summary for those that don't want to read 70+ pages

(Sing to the tune of "Twas the Night before Xmas")

Twas the night before the deadline
And all through the night
Phoenix was hoping Houston would bite
And Dragic would be shipped to join Beard man and Dwight
But McDonough was tough
And the price had to be right

But if **** hit the fan, and there was no green light
Then IT would be sent where there was not much sunlight
And the Suns would again try to make the Dragon feel right

Then what in the **** did I just hear?
It’s Miles Plumlee!
Oh Christ what’s he doing here?
If only we could get rid of him, we will include a case of beer.

He'll be starting so our bench would still need help. But maybe Bullock can give us the scoring punch we need when our superstar Warren is resting.

BTW, why was Green getting limited minutes in late Feb?

The Suns were showcasing IT and Dragic to drive up their value. They had decided to trade one or the other and keep Green.

Green actually fits our offense perfectly. He's a great catch and shoot guy and fastbreak guy. Sure, he can't dribble worth dick, but that's fine since we already have too many guys who dribble.
