He brought in Blanks and Hunter. He drafted Kief and brought his brother in. I don't like him. He is terrible. Oh no, he is front and center in the Chandler presser as well. AHHH!

Sorry but Babby is extremely smart and well spoken. He is remaining on as a senior advisor for the Suns. Remember he was an agent for players and knows both sides of any situation. It's good that Ryan McD is making all the basketball decisions now but Babby can field the stupid reporter questions much, much better.

I get defending McDuh because the jury is still out on him and he could find redemption as our Messiah?.But come on why would you defend Sarver's pet henchman/"managing partner"? The Babbler has made move after irredeemable move

Because smarter people than you have hired Babby to represent them ... Tim Duncan and Grant Hill just to name a few.

Wow!

We have done so well under his expert guidance.

It is amazing what gets you liked and hated by some Suns Fans.

Our course he and Sarver are best buddies. That is the only reason I can see for him being on the staff while numerous others have departed and are making a name for themselves elsewhere. Like winning basketball games.

Babby should have been canned long ago.

Didn't Duncan just get hustled out of some serious dough?

yeah he certainly is saying all the right things. I scoff a bit at bringing players in as "leaders" because isn't that what coaches are for but maybe I need to change my thinking on that.

Yes and no. Coaches can only do so much during practice and on the bench. Sometimes you need a locker room and on-court general. It's like when you were in school. The teachers and pricipal were authority figures, they told you what to do, but you didn't necessarily always listen. If a respected classmate or friend told you the same thing, you'd be more likely to listen. In a basketball environment, if a guy can go out and back up what they preach it means more than a coach that's been away from the game for a while and younger guys might think they're "out of touch". It's different with other coaches, obviously. Every player, young or old, would respect what Phil Jackson, Greg Popovich or Pat Riley told them. On the other hand, a younger coach with less success (i.e. Hornacek), not so much. I think Tyson is a great bridge between the coaching staff and the young team.

Puff telling it like it is. Babby and Blanks will forever be tied at the hip and were hand in hand. It was only when Blank's terrible PR image became deadweight did Babby throw him out of his stewarded ship to absolve himself of some culpability. And who cares about big names Babby represented? Hardly a FO suitable qualification to be charged with anything beyond administrative overseeing and budgeting which he overstepped

My god if Kieff is gonna throw a tantrum (and that's absolutely something he would do), I want Tyson Chandler to slap him across the head and whoop his ass. If they can record that and put it up on Suns.com or something, I'll buy season tickets. Chandler can earn all $52 million by doing just that.

With respect to that one, Keef is actually in an outstanding basketball situation for him. He can play some defense, it's just not the flashy kind of weak side blocking or rim protecting. He has the foot speed to hedge and recover and/or funnel guards towards rim protectors...now he gets to play with 2 of them, one at all times. Plus, both of them help mitigate his crappy rebounding. On offense, he's really good at throwing lobs to his big men...now he has two good bigs to play alongside of. He already has some sick offensive and defensive chemistry with Len, and he had it with Wright - I have to imagine he can develop that with super-Wright aka Tyson. If he comes around, he will find himself in a good spot. I do think it's worth holding on to him and giving him the chance. We shall see.

Plus, he has friends in the org. Bledsoe, Goodwin, Len - they all like each other. Mook wasn't his only friend in the world. He might eventually choose to not **** his other teammates and friends over and play it out, even if he's always salty at management (like Adrian Peterson in the NFL). He's almost 26, maybe he'll behave like an adult? One can hope.

C'mon guys. Any of us would be mad if our team just salary dumped our brother in a trade. He hasn't said anything public besides his Twitter post " it's a foul game". Give him a chance to see how he reacts before we assume he's going to pout the whole year about it.

Babby got hired in July 2010. About five years ago. Really he didn't have much to do that summer because Sarver was acting GM. So his (and Blanks) imprint didn't start until 2011 or four years ago. So your saying Babby should have been fired long ago ... two or three years ... after only one year on the job. Such stupidity by some of our so called fans. Let's make it clear by giving you a really, really, really, really good example of stupidity ... Sacramento Kings ... Huge front office and coaching turnover ... repeatedly getitng high draft picks ... repeated cellar dwellers

KINGS COACHES SINCE 2011
23 Paul Westphal 2009–2012 171 51 120 .298 — — — — [35]
24 Keith Smart 2012–2013 141 48 93 .340 — — — — [36]
25 Mike Malone 2013–2014 106 39 67 .368 — — — — [37]
26 Tyrone Corbin 2014–2015 28 7 21 .250 — — — — [38]
27 George Karl 2015–present 30 11 19 .367 — — — — [39]

Stability is a huge key to a teams success. Constant turnover of coaches, front office, and players is a recipe for disaster.

wondering if nothing else changes if Markieff won't play a little at the 3 sometimes next year. Bled, Knight, Kieff, Len, Chandler would be fun to watch on occasion. Can still run, lead the break, and defend that paint like nobody's business. Smallish backcourt: check. Mountainous front court: check.

I don't think sometimes. I think it is a requirement ot have a locker room and on court general to keep the young ones in line. You think Duncan or KG take crap or allow nonsense to happen in the locker room. No way. These young guys that come into winning situations are put in their place real quick by veterans who have accomplished something.

No veteran leadership for the Kings ... lose lose lose
Took years for ZBo to pull his head out of his azz and moved to three different teams ... finally winning

Kieff isn't traded yet :P

And while he was acting dumb the worst things were done by Marcus. Markieff was saying stupid things but he didn't yell at coach or beat somebody.

Return to Phoenix Suns
