We owe BK way to much money to do that. This is not a Josh Smith situation either where his absence would actually help the team. Unless we need that 15th roster spot we may as well keep him. Break glass in case of emergency. I don't know...

My question is... can Bledsoe play with Ball and Booker at the same time?

If we draft Lonzo Ball, then we better use our #54 to draft Lavar Ball.

I'm only half joking.

- Draft Lavar @ #54. Make his dream come true.
- Pay him $40,000.00 a year to sit on the bench on our D-league team.
- Keep him in Prescott...a good solid 2 hours away from Phoenix.

Sarver can recoup the $40,000.00 in additional revenue from the attention Lavar will bring to the Prescott Suns. Meanwhile, with Lavar distracted, Lonzo can devolop with us with no distractions.

You mean Booker at the 3 and Bledsoe at the 2 - interesting idea

The more this draft gets closer - the more I think with the young nucleus, the Suns need a guy that will make everybody better around him I think that's Ball. He will dominate the ball but I think in a good way - getting it to his teammates

Could than trade Bledsoe to a team and he might have a chance to win sooner and the Suns get draft picks or whatever

I wonder if a pick from Miami - with some protection would get the Lakers to move down to 2

I don't want to trade to move up........ trade Bled for a top ten pick okay. He should be getting in on a three way with Bledsoe. He is a solid player that a competitive needs.

I wish you guys would stop this insanity, Booker is a 2 guard he doesn't have the size or strength to guard small forwards in the NBA. How long do you think that Booker is going to last in a game guarding lebron, Lenard or Durant?

If they would draft ball Bledsoe should absolutely be traded. To take full advantage of balls stregths he needs to be running the offense. Anything else is wasting his tools and stunting his development. Turn the keys over from day one of camp.

Booker is only 20. He will continue to add strength for the next five years--just as his body matures. That does not even take into account a normal lifting routine. Its not about what Booker is, it is about what he will be.

I am really torn on the draft now. If LA really doesn't take Ball, I think that is the best option for us. If he is gone, it looks like it is going to be Isaac.

Thing is, would Ainge really gamble who he wants by dropping 2 spots. I don't think he'd gamble that LA won't take Jackson, so maybe it is Tatum he wants. If that is true then it guarantees one of Ball or Jackson for Phoenix...

I keep going back and forth with Isaac and Tatum at 4 if the typical top 3 are gone. I personally prefer DSJ to both of them, but the fact that we haven't heard about the Suns working out any of the PGs makes me think that we probably won't go that direction.

I don't think Isaac is going to be much more than a spot-up shooter and off-ball scorer on offense, while Tatum could be a 1st option on offense if he can be a consistent 3-point shooter and his playmaking skills continue to develop. Isaac could be an elite defender with his length and mobility, and Tatum has a decent frame but not quite the same length. Tatum is basically the prototype for an NBA SF, especially if his range extends reaches the 3-point line. I worry about Isaac being considered 3, but in this day if you can defend the position and shoot the 3 ball, you'll at least have some success. If he can add more to his game, then awesome, but his shooting and defense are very valuable in the NBA now.

The article/talk with his coach about Isaac's basketball IQ and how he committed to the role that won the team games instead of being out there for himself was a good read. I don't want to buy too much into coach speak but it's nice when his old coach thinks that highly of him. I can buy into a guy like that, and if there's more to his skill set than what he showed with FSU then that's even better.

Ok, so Sixers will be taking Fultz no matter what if the trade goes through, i think there is no denying that.

From there the Lakers either go with Ball and Celtics take Jackson, or Lakers snake Jackson, in which i see the Celtics taking Tatum.

This week im back on the Issac bandwagon. I was gun-ho on Tatum (as gun-ho as someone could be when left with our options), as i think trying to Play Issac as a SF wont work out that great and your taking away from a large part of his game by playing him out of position (Weakside defense). But, with all that being said, im wondering about sliding Chriss over to SF and having Issac back at his natural PF spot. I think that really could work out pretty damn well.

..........but if Jackson or Ball are somehow still on the board, we have to take them.

Well it was mentioned on twitter today that the trade likely wouldn't take place until Philly was on the clock at 3 because they don't want to risk LA taking Jackson.

Anyone see this Sam Amico tweet?

ICYMI on AmicoHoops: #Lakers reportedly may be willing to trade No. 2 to #Suns for No. 4 and 2018 pick. More here. http://amicohoops.net/nba-rumors-los-angeles-lakers-markelle-fultz-lonzo-ball-magic-johnson-nba-draft/ …

Hypothetically we would be trading up for Ball, not Jackson, right?
