The biggest mystery right now, in my mind, is what's going to happen with Archie. I think Booker may have a leg up on him in terms of getting minutes - everybody's talking about how smart he is on both ends, and it's widely acknowledged that he's already our best shooter, or second best to Brandon at worst. If Booker leapfrogs Archie in the rotation, what happens to Archie? After all, the guy clearly has talent. I just can't imagine he'll be okay with not cracking the rotation. But I also can't imagine we'd get much in trade if he can't crack the rotation. But then again, I can't imagine us giving him up for nothing, given his talent level.

The second biggest mystery to me is - what if Markieff really has improved that 3 point shot? If he has, then we'll want to keep him, as we'll be winning games. But I'm sure we've communicated that we'll do our best to move him if we can get a solid offer. Another catch-22. If he plays well, we'll get better offers, and he'll be pissed if we don't move him. Maybe we can get through this year without having to worry about it. But damn. If we do move Keef, and we may have to, is there really anyone else available to start at the 4 for us? All I see are downgrades.

The chemistry may have arrived, but the intrigue is going nowhere.

I agree with this. Its going to be Booker or Archie in our future. Not both. This camp will determine alot. If Archie wins pt over Booker, we will hang on to Booker because of his age. If Booker beats Archie for a regular rotation spot, Archie will be gone. We will probably trade him for a second round pick or something. It is much better to have a greatful vet like Weems playing bench minutes than a frustrated young buck like Archie.

There is a trade coming. I do think Keef will be dealt and some point, and maybe Archie along with him.

Yep, another 'failed' pick by McD at the end of the lottery...that scrub we have in Warren, and now followed by the guy that's already showing the potential to beat out another talented guy (that McD also picked) we've had on the roster for two years. I mean, look at our picks:

2013: Len and Goodwin
2014: Warren, 1/2 of Knight, Rights to Bogdanovic
2015: Booker, Leuer (in trade)

But no, we need to tank, darn-it, so we can get actual good players like Marcus Smart and Dante Exum, then we'll be championship contenders in 2 years, like the 76ers! [GREEN FONT]

And Kieff? Well, didn't he turn off all suns fans from his Twitter or something? Did he turn those back on now? Who knows with this dude, but it's clearly McD's fault we're on this situation--egging the MoBros on to commit that assault, act like a$$-clowns and be top 10 in technicals, and then yell at their coach. P.J. Tucker is in far better condition than when camp started a year ago. Much of that has to do with Hornacek’s request for Tucker to spearhead the early voluntary workouts.

“It’s definitely the best condition I’ve been in coming into camp and I think everybody else, too,” Tucker said.

“Coach, at the beginning, he wanted guys to come in August 24th. He’s like, ‘Tuck, I need your help. We’re going to try to get guys back.’ I’m like, ‘August 24th?’ But I swear now it’s the best thing we’ve ever had. I’ll do that now for the rest of my career. Get in really early and then it’s not so hard in the beginning to fight and really get in shape.”

Are you trying to say that McD draft picks are good, therefore its justification for the Suns always picking at the end of the lottery? I hate to break it to you, but the only player that McD drafted, that been able to crack the rotation, is Alex Len. Guess what, he was drafted with the #5 pick, the year the Suns "tanked". Warren, Booker, Goodwin, and Bogdanovic are all unknowns at this point, they have not proven a thing. Alex Len has only shown flashes, when healthy, so I don't see the point you are trying to make.

McD was right to value them as complimentary talent and not core talent.

Amare did say that the reason he went to Miami was because of Goran, and if Goran had still been in Phoenix, he would have come back here.

I hate to break it to you, but only a couple or at most a handful of players from any of those drafts have proven a thing. And some of the ones who have proved something were picked AFTER our guys (eg, Gobert).

High picks guarantee nothing. Would I rather have high picks if we don't make the playoffs? Of course, we all would, but you can make solid picks throughout the lottery with good scouting and then with proper player development (which doesn't have to be only in nba games) can have a lot to do with how good players turn out. Many high potential guys have failed because of either not having proper development or being expected to do too much too soon and they lost confidence.

What's with all the dwelling in the past bullsh*t? Gortat? Goran? AMARE?! Bring back Joe Johnson while we're at it! I bet QRich would be down to get some money. Let's go get Starbury, Penny and Gugliotta while we're at it. Get Tom Chambers and EJ out from behind those desks and onto the court, they're already at the arena anyways, might as well suit them up!

And people expect me to "actually contribute"?

It's annoying. It's every other post that's a green post. If it's every now and then fine but I don't understand how it's not considered trolling to the mods when it's like 90% of the time. I'm not sure anyone finds it funny either.

I'm sorry, I guess I should join in the concrete analysis of photographs and interviews, because those are 100% accurate insights into whether we're going to make the playoffs this year.

Don't believe what they're saying guys. Hornacek and co. are trying to make you forget about the Nacho Debacle by overcompensating praise of PJ Tucker's physique. Just look at that picture with the nachos! He obviously pigged out all summer. Don't be fooled!

I agree. Plus he puts it in green font so you know it's in jest, while so many chicken little around here are frighteningly unaware that what they say should be in green font.

I do find it ironic that Frank calls him out. :o

Day 2 training camp video Suns posted, Markieff interview at end.. It's obvious Markieff just had to spend time with the teammates to make him forget about the offseason.
